Talmidim (pl) is the Hebrew word for Disciples. A Talmid (disciple) is not a servant and is not a student. A Talmid of a Rabbi doesn't merely want to know what the Rabbi knows (that's a student), a Talmid wants to be just like his Rabbi. Assuming you follow Rabbi Yeshua (Jesus), how many of you truly want to be just like him?
The vocalist dated my ex wife's best friend years ago, he worked @ blockbuster (when that was a thing). He was my neighbors in Midtown...Also, he had a Door's cover band. One talented MF for sure! You kick ass Jesse. Hope all is well, dude!
Most of the band members are in another band called March in Arms.. I am not sure if this is the original line up playing live but most of the original line up all formed the band "March in Arms" and it's a definitely a different change in direction from this.. It's more Power Metal I guess..
The COG For me was like 1993 Mousetrap, Sideshow, Mercy Rule, Frontier Trust, and Special guest PAW from Lawrence, Kansas. I then make the mistake and invited Papillion pricks with me to The COG and Antiquarium. The COG, it was a bad ass place that allowed anyone a chance to play...
Man, this really took me back. That period of time felt so significant. Even scrubbing away some of the excesses and silliness of it, I still recognize that it had a hand in forming and shaping who I am today. Thanks for putting this up, bro!
So far, this band has one good song. Then a bunch of SHIT. calling people "homophobes". No doubt these are phonies after that... But "The Cross is Suicide" is dumb as the fickers singing it. THE CROSS WAS MURDER.
Being a horror movie fiend mine are, in no order The Omen (score) Return of the Living Dead (soundtrack) The Exorcist (score) Candyman (score) Scream (soundtrack) I Know What You Did Last Summer (soundtrack)
Agreed!! To me phil was what a metal front man should be! but I thought his look during the Trendkill and Reinventing the Steel is what a metal front man should look like!!!
1996 I was 9 and Discovering Metallica Motley Crue and Ozzy! I didnt learn about Fear Facorty and Coal Chamber and powerman 5000 until 3 years later!!!
Loving this series man, keep it up. I'm probably 10 years younger than you, this is got me going back through my own journy into heavy music, starting as a kid in the nu metal era
Great video! Happy to see you dive into Metallica and the contrast it brought in the industry in the '80s. Hope you make more of this, your editing and personality is awesome, brother. Rock on 🤟
