You can do it without the foam with chicken wire. It works better if the box is deeper but totally doable.

@@woodandwordblooms my boxes are the $3 ones from Dollar Tree. They have small open handles on both ends. I just put the foam to the top because they fit good. Hopefully I can get enough greenery to cover it all.

Great question. I actually made it on one of my old business postcards I believe it was a 4x6 card. Do you want to make sure to use some thing that has a little bit of thickness to it so if you were using card stock, I would suggest maybe gluing a couple pieces together or you could cut a very thin piece of cardboard to that size then I would check with the suit pocket just to make sure that it isn’t too big. I made this one without actually putting it in my husband’s suit pocket and let me tell you those flowers were large and in charge. I probably would’ve made it a lot smaller if I was making it again.
