Ive been with Satisfactory since it entered early access. I began playing a bit later during update 3, the game came along so far, and its so bloody good. I highly recommend it! And omg the soundtrack is so fitting for the gameplay i love satisfactory so much!~ Great game and a very well-done review too.
Great question! Yes you can. I couldn’t find it in the manual, but with some experimentation figured it out. If you select a carrier then hold down Shift the cursor will change to the recon symbol (assuming the hex is in range).
It’s definitely still a work in progress, but I’m enjoying it! They posted an update that a lot of what we saw in the campaign missions will be updated and improved as well like the cutscenes and mission structure. These are just the current draft. As for competitive, I felt like the matchmaking was pretty good, I’ve had some solid matches even as a very mediocre player.
enjoying the video! you do a nicer job of explaining the mechanics than the manual! haha. by the way, if you have a channel Discord, I'd love to join! cheers 🎉
Thank you for your tutorial series. Strategic Command games are a really nice sweet spot in complexity, playability, and fun. A great game system with a fabulous editor! 🙂
It appears to still be the same system as before. I was curious if they would expand on naval combat. Will dig into the manual to see if there’s anything new going on.
Bless you for doing this series. I had the original Advanced Tactics when it was new, and I really enjoyed fiddling with it. I bought AT Gold a few weeks ago, and haven’t had the energy to try to figure it out again - this is a huge help. Thank you for being so thorough in your explanations. It’s really a pretty cool system. (I like Shadow Empire, too)
@18 :00 Like yourself I was surprised to only score a Tactical Victory,. But, then it dawned on me that the Germans get their bonus for still having about 50% of their force intact.
Great video. Think you covered enough to get started. Only thing it looks like a player might want to do differently is combine units with similar mobility under one headquarters. You said these weren’t intended to be ideal composition, but I suspect that by putting armored cars with infantry (for example) your cars will be limited to walking speed.
Spent several hours playing this game. The game is very stable and the transport of tactical battles to and from Field of Glory Medieval is seamless. But a HUGE shortcoming is the inability to decline, withdraw from, or avoid battles with a superior force. Thus the AI or yourself can build these HUGE armies that can just run around the stomp all the little armies as they try and consolidate into a force capable of putting up resistance.
Thanks for watching! I’ll try to have the next video up soon, if you have any questions come up please post and I’ll try to get them all answered before finishing this series.
It certainly gives me a challenge! Experienced players may be able to reliably defeat the AI, but it will come at you aggressively. You can also increase the difficulty level, or put yourself up against more opponents.
The AI will cheat, it will have upgraded resource locations (RAW & OIL) very quickly which means it builds units quickly. Use the AI to learn against but for real quality play go for PBEM against another player.
hello, thank you for showcasing this game. i always read AAR's on the matrix forums back in the day. There is no other game like it. This is Civ but with military units. I have always wanted to play civ game but with advance military units. 10 bucks is cheap for a game like this. first time viewer on your channel. A big fan of watching hex wargames. thanks
When you select a city, you should be able to see the production lines in the bottom middle. You click on those and can change what you are making and how you want to allocate production. Then those go to whichever HQ you have that city pointed to.
@@ExampleOfPlay I think it was producing buildings I had a problem with. I just figured out I need engineers and only thing you can produce is factories.
