@@Mx-38 it was my first time out on a bike in over 12 months , there was a few slippy sections and seen you flying around the track 👍👍👍 top man probably see you there next time if your going the next 1 mate
@@JohnBingo-x5l Awesome mate ! Great to get out after a lay off. What number were you if you had a number on ? Did you enjoy it that’s the main thing ? And think next one I’m doing at Lc is the one with the hill climb after the practice day.
@@Mx-38 I was on my daughters crf 250 today mate not ideal for enduro , she went to cream fields festival so borrowed her bike , I’m going to buy myself a bike soon , I’ve been riding superbikes on fast road for the last 2 years but want to get into the enduro / mx etc again mate , yeah enjoyed the day today was nice getting out 👍👍
@@enduromxhumph____thanks pal, no battery will only last 45-50 mins and then it’s just on my helmet in the way not recording so I never bother. This lap is exactly what we raced bar hill that somone was stuck on they cut that out
@@Mx-38 was thinking about Bicton over Llansilin this weekend- never done Bicton. I’ve seen your videos though. Would you choose Bicton over Llansilin or vice versa pal?
@@BrenLeese I’m going to bicton but that’s because I’m doing the club championship this year with fast eddy. Bicton is more mx with a small amount of woods and plenty of stubble/mx style terrain. If you’re after more pure enduro Llansilin is the one for you 👍🏻
I've seen it catch a few people out, particularly in the wet. The best line to take into the corner is over the steepest part as well. It's a shame that they have sanitised all the trails though. Used to be much gnarlier. @@Mx-38
@@niseach yes I I’ve done this trial before years ago on a full sus but forgot all about it so took it steady. The rest of the place I found pretty easy on a hardtail one you got the lines down. The sanitised bits are flatout but still they’ve kept some gnarly outcrops so it a strange contract. Found it good if not a little challenge less. Only line that was too sketchy on a ht was re powder that I had to dab down
2017 en carb, I ride midlands, Cheshire and wales and clubman for wor, still in sportsman for the fast eddy championship this year but be clubman next year.
Trying to see through that dust at the end coming through people is impossible, GoPro doesn’t show how rough and bumpy the whole lap is and the massive rocks that change position every lap you’ve got to be switched on at all times 😮
It’s got a lot more bottom end like a 450 Does. You have to ride them more like a 4stroke. This rm was running a little weak tbh my other bike is a tm 300 that’s got a lot of bottom doesn’t Rev like a 250 2 stroke.
@@Mx-38 thanks for the reply dude! reckon with some mapping it could rev out more ? Was the 300 build fairly easy to get the parts ? Torn between get a new KTM 300 sx or building a rm up.
@@FlatpeakTerminator no probs. I’d always go for a factory built 300. This rm build up was done by Eric gore in Iowa, he’s known as a 2 stroke god but it’s never really ran right nothing to do with him I don’t think the engine and parts are just under a lot of strain as it wasn’t designed to be 300cc. Honestly the lack of Rev isn’t a bad thing they’re so powerful you don’t need it at all. Go 300sx for sure 👍🏻
