The City has paid millions in attorney fees on the tax payers dime to hide the health hazards associated with the City. IS this not concerning to anyone else. THE HEAD OF OUR FAMILY IS DEAD FROM EXPOSURE TO THE FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL FEILDS AT THE HIGH SCHOOL. HE MAINTAINED THE GROUNDS AND DIED 5 MONTHS AFTER STARTING THE CITYS CONTRACT
In talking on the golf course, increasing the price of golf $5/round and still expecting to do the same amount of rounds is crazy. It'll increase revenue for sure and should easily offset the $50k or so deficit. However, $55/round on the weekend at the Highlands when I can go down to Lake Erie Metropark and get a round on a nicer course for $43, it's a no brainer.
Every one of you will not have a lot of votes next time we told you we didn't want it passed. You work for US. I want to know how many police vehicles we have and if the police take them home? I also want to know what happens to them after we are done with them? We can reuse a lot of the lights and stuff instead of buying new and paying a upfiter to build them. Home many years do we get out of one? We only 4 sq miles why do we need new ones all the time?

Mayor Swift incorrectly stated that there were 3 Lieutenants eligible for retirement this year. There are two that are eligible right now with Lt. Christopher Merritt being eligible in January as has been stated at meetings including one that the Mayor did not attend.
Everyone take note that Anne stated that the City was already factoring the 2 Mill increase into the budget before it has come up for a Vote. There ought to be no doubt that that is already a done deal.
It absolutely amazes me that someone can promote a RU-vid channel that is nothing more than video harassment and stalking at a City Council meeting, list people by name AND address and it is allowed? For the record, the people across from Ed Maas MOVED because of this channel and the City of Riverview's protection of his rights of free speech! What about our right to personal protection?
It amazes me that We have a Mayor (who is a Friend of Dan's) a Council and a Police Department that allows your husband and you to harass me at will. For the record I still live next door to them. She clearly doesn't know me nor does she know what she is talking about. A lot of that probably had to do with what happened to her in 2019 when she was in Utah.

Something needs to be done about Ed Maas. His youtube channel is proof this man is totally insane. It makes no sense that he can stalk people and slander them and nothing happens. Just follow his social media platforms. He says derogatory things about multiple people. What is the common denominator in all this? It’s Ed Maas. The man needs psychiatric help. Why if you have one weed in your yard that's 4" you give a ticket and why are you and that lady out Measuring people's yard to be petty. But you the city can have parks and city properties grass 8-10" tall the government is not above the law or the City ordinance So I say that the city parks or property have grass that is too high. They should have to pay a fine to the residents.
Marjorie Taylor Green made a fool of her self during the state of the union address and broke house rules by wearing a cap ... Its not that big of a deal but come on . I've lived in the city for my whole life and I'm in my early 40s. I could speculate all day that there's another reason why people don't want to pay for police protection. Maybe we don't see a whole lot of success in the program you know. I applaud anybody trying to go back 20 years for a forensic audit, but we can literally go back 30 years 40 years. And you're never going to find the personal stories that shaped some of our hesitance to thow money at a failed program.
The City Manager needs to speak in common language. Not every resident is a CPA and frankly some of the terms he uses are unnecessary to explain simple accounting concepts.

An amazing demonstration of how not to allow vendors to run your meeting. How did this happen? As a long time former resident, with a consideration to return, I am disappointed in the direction this city is heading.
If we do nothing nothing will change. We as a community can and should come together to help figure out how to help the community ie. Keep taxes low. No one will be able to sell their house or possibly keep them if we don't keep the taxes down. When do we do something when it's to late or when we can still do something? I feel like people today have forgotten what a community is and with a community of 12,500 we are not very big. Get to know more then just your next door neighbor get out volunteer do something old young it makes no difference. My family moved to riverview going on 5 years now because we seen the value in riverview and my wife and me both grew up around riverview. It's beautiful it's got potential but no one is going to want to live here if your taxes are just as much as your house payment a year. People say they want nothing to change well that's not how the world works people say they want change but don't help change it again that's not how it works.
That guy is getting physically violent because they are getting called out on a list of corruption? May just be a council seat, but no one like that should be anywhere close to a poiltical position. He just gave a free masterclass on "traits of someone you don't want in decision making, anywhere". Hope the man he shoved presses charges.
Ladies and gentlemen, that’s Elmer Trombley. He’s an embarrassment to the city and shouldn’t be on the election ballot. He has been making poor decisions for years and at age 86, believes he is capable of running for an elected position that he held for roughly 35 years. This is the same man that came into my former place of employment to buy a replacement flip phone in 2022. While there’s nothing wrong with flip phones for those who prefer them, his phone display was non-functional. He was able to receive calls, but couldn’t use his phonebook nor see the numbers he dialed. He bought an exact replacement only to replace it two days later because he he still believed his old phone was still a viable option. He proceeded to come back in 24 hours later to repurchase the phone after his son saw it and had to explain to him how unreasonable it was to use such a device. I don’t say this to judge his character as a man, but it is unreasonable that such a person would make a decision like that and believe he is fit for public office. He is not a good representative for this city nor for its people.
He was the guy sending out all the propaganda about how Riverview’s was going to go down hill because of the store on Fort st. He has all elderly voters voting for him but what better way to win, if you scare the elderly into thinking he is their savior and is gonna stop it from happening.

For someone who only uses an address but doesn't even live on the street to make a disparaging comment about me only reflect Mayor's Swift's desperate attempts to use My Neighbors as well as relatives now to try to take me down. I believe that the people of Riverview will see through this menusha and realize that I will make a better Mayor than Dan Kellepourey's friend Andrew Swift has ever been. Dan's also afraid that he will have to start comforming to standards rules such as mowing his entire lawn and not illegally blocking his Neighbors' Driveway. He wonders why I won't have a conversation with him. Based on his harassment and abuse as well as his wife's and other relatives why would I want anything to do with any of them? This is the gentleman sending out the flyers to vote Yes on banning what we have already voted yes to years ago. His depictions in his flyer of how a cannabis store will ruin Riverview is only to show that his out of date and racist views are shinning through when you see the threats of how that store will make our property taxes go lower. His claims are what propaganda is defined as: Information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.
