Fort Bragg and Mendocino, California. Showing you the many walking trails, Beaches, Parks and events. Fort Bragg, California and Mendocino Village have many trails, most are easy walking. I spend most of my time in Fort Bragg. We have the Skunk Train and Glass Beach here and Three Breweries. The Noyo harbor is a Great Place to spend the day! There are multiple food venues and music venues. I am providing a taste of what is here and how to find them. You will have to come to the Mendocino coast to experience these trails to the fullest. If you enjoy my videos check out my photo's on Facebook.
Great video that brings back fond memories of Glass Beach the Skunk Train and fried abalone. My wife's grandparents were longtime residents in Fort Bragg and we visited often in the 1980s. Many of my afternoons were spent in the harbor fishing from the docks and eating fried lingueca on a stick from the deli.. My wife and I used to eat sub sandwiches from the Red Caboose. We're hoping to revisit the area within the next year....thank you.
Highway 128 typically has a few days to a week of closure due to flooding on the Navarro River. Between Comptche and Highway 1. Thanks for the question and for watching my video. Highway 128 is a much prettier drive than 20 and goes through some wine country and a few small towns.
Our favorite place to stay in Ft. Bragg is the Harbor Lite Lodge. We also enjoyed lunch at Capt. Flint's, but it closed years ago. Since we left California over 5 years ago, I have missed our visits to ft. Bragg. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Harbor lite has an awesome view!! Noyo Fish Company has shrimp won tons that many compare to Capt Flints. Thanks for the Comments and viewing my video!
A short walk from there is the Fort Bragg Guest House Museum. It is also an excellent place to visit. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DnrMsxv1q9M.html
Seems like I've been there, if I was it was a long time ago. I vaguely remember seeing some model trains. Which is weird because I would dig that as well!
I am sure will in enjoy This Views in 3 weeks - looking forward for my trip to Fort Bragg / Mendocino!!! ❤ Good advice here to detach yourself from your phone!!! 👍
@@geebee2576 Oh, no ... please do not stop recording - your videos are adding Peace and Beauty to this World ... especially now - this is so needed ... 🌞... I think it is a such privilege that you can live at This Beautiful Place and able to share ... Thank you and Namaste
As a painter, I am always looking for these types of moving shadow scenarios. It's great fun in outdoor painting to capture progressing light or shadows. Thanks for sharing!
Ha! I had a Black Phoebe make a nest above a light fixture on my front porch this year. She finally got use to me coming and going and would stay on the nest most of the time. Long story short..she had the young ones, and they moved on when ready.
Years ago I had just taken a biding class and of coarse would get excited to find a new one!! I was in Victoria BC Canada and saw my first Black Phoebe, I was excited then I came home and found them all over. It was still a lifer!!
Thank you. That was fun. I was there several years ago with some friends. We had a good dinner to finish our weekend at the Wharf restaurant. We also took the Skunk Train, visited the Museum and an antique shop, and we were there for the annual Fish Fry Dinner at the Portugese Hall.
Just saying 👋. Thank you for sharing. Hope you're getting better after surgery. Ps. It is great to have Bambi on front lawn.. I'm jealous... hope you have good week 😊
It was in the Mid Sixties The State purchased the Right of Way , Now I Understand Why it was So Wide! Soon The Land Will Heal Again! Hopefully The Intersection at Lansing Street and Hwy one Will Be Much Safer!
Did you happen to visit Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina while you were there? I hear it's a happening place, though I would probably go for more authentic mom and pop spots myself.
