Bro ill do that job now. No fing people to deal with, no damn customers being stupid, maybe a vagrant, and oh no some flies. Please let me do it im looking them up now.
I started working as a guard in 92. Worked average 100 hour weeks, at $5.00 an hour. Armed guard $5.95 hour. Is what it is. I worked for a company that didn't pay on payday and took a year to get my last check. Training? I made the best of every post I could, just deal with it.
i did deal with it...and if what I'm hearing is correct you chose to work the 100hr a week...i was forced to work 32 hours straight, that is a big difference.
Sometimes you have to walk away, it will definitely get someone's attention. I did that on a Saturday morning when my relief didn't come , no surprise, 18 janitors stood around for 5 hours till someone came with keys to let them in. I didn't hear a peep from management.
I just started yesterday, I was supposed to be getting trained on the job at this event special. I was supposed to see my supervisor and hand her a checklist for the things I have to go through, but she was not here. I called and even messaged her and nothing… My post was straightforward I just had to watch a closed parking lot to make sure no one enters in. Already I do not like allied. Everything is just so unorganized.
you think the goddamn computer didn't have the autocorrect there when he highlighted the word haha...plus it wasn't the only misspelled word. I had to go back through his entire daily activity report and correct simple things! Here's the biggest thing....ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS COPY AND PASTE!! haha my man was not bright
I have to say. I understand your situation. Just leave go into something else. Their are a lot of security companies corporate hotel etc that are good. You just with a sht company which is by the way the largest company if them all. Just go dude. I hear ya you quit. Good luck.
what do you not understand? the bad situation is so bad and so common that is why I am warning people. I've probably stop hundreds of people from working for this company and proud of it! also i did get out of it and that's why the video is called I Quit! haha and I'm in a much better situation. bought a house and i have more money than I've ever had. But right when I got to the top of the mountain and felt on top of the world my 13 yr old dog died...but as Vonnegut said so it goes...
How do you people who do security complain about the smallest things and have no ability to cope with anything? Flies? Idk don't open your mouth lol it isn't a big deal you are in a room just bc you had 2 flies enter the room with you and one got into your mouth isn't a valid reason to quit the easiest job ever. Cockroaches? Buy raid max spray and spray it around the door they won't come in your little box room. Ear infection? Get over it. Do you know how hard my job is bro and what I get paid and I'm going to do your job you couldn't last a day at my job but I'll take your job any fucking day. Get on n meds or get therapy or both man try that before quiting and maybe delete this video too to save your face.
Several years ago I worked in a place that had in house security. It was great. Then they decided to go to Universal Security (This of course prior to the merger with Allied Barton). Universal came in and just broke everything. Everything that was good was trashed. Then they took over the interview process for our place and would hire just total moronic clowns that had zero business being there, or people who would work maybe a day or two then quit. It was so horrible that I went from loving where I worked to loathing it. I lasted 3 months after we went contract and bailed. It's hard to find a decent contract security job. A majority of the major companies suck. However, there ARE good security jobs out there. You just have to find them, which is difficult because you either have to know someone, or there are rarely openings because the jobs hold.
I’ve been with Garda world now for about a year by far one of the best security companies I’ve worked with been promoted within two months, and the opportunity for growth is immense and the pay is good
i hope you got a good site....thats the biggest thing. security sucks in my opinion but I'm a super hyper active person so the doing nothing is what gets me...BUT this company is 100% the worst I mean just look at the comments and the like to dislike ratio 1700 to 50...the odds are good that you're gonna leave the company with a bad taste in your mouth...again I hope you got a good site that is what matters the most but dealing with the main office and client manager or field supervisors is worse than having a tooth pull without any numbing agent haha
32 Hour Shifts are illegal, but that's AUS, I'm sure they'd just deny it. I tried AUS twice, not gonna lie, but there's not going to be any charmed third time, twice was bad enough.
nope stay in trucking hahahaha please go drive for walmart they make 6 figures and dont have to unload. walmart trucking right now is the golden time. heck all walmart is the golden time the store managers are taken home 1/2 a mil....just saying being a trucker you'll be able to tolerate those 16...to maybe 24-32 hour shifts which I'm pretty sure is illegal, but if you don't have a relief and you have to be back in 4-5 hours anyways...hope the best but trucking is what i am considering right now because walmart is paying so good.
100% i hate to say it....but everyone that wants the job doesn't want to do physical labor basically. they just want to sit on their phones all day. security used to be a respected ambitious field but not anymore since Allied Universal monopolized the industry! I've been working on this one video for years I think I'm close to done with. Lisa Kahn and the FTC and all the illegal growth practices behind AU.
Allied is horrible company. I was a supervisor there they have the worst shady mangers & client Management I’ve ever seen. Lots of shady back door stuff, they would take people off post then have another person come in and tell that person to just say they’re training for a different location , when in fact that person is there to replace whoever was at that post. A client will treat staff like dogs tell them to clean up bird shit etc by hand when that’s not apart of their job. When officer asks for gloves to do it the client tells officer, they don’t need to have that officer there and they can make the officer do whatever they want. Client tells officer they are only there to be a personal assistant and not to do security and it was the easiest way to hire a P.A without having to look for one another way. When officer brings that to management they’re taken off post of request of client then had to sit around at home for 3 months and nobody in offic would even reply to that officer. Super shady. Then calls officer back to go to work but by that time the officer had already found a new job due to them being shady AF
I watched you build your van way back and observed your struggles. You spent 3 years, 2 months, and 13 days in a van. I am very curious, though, is your fur baby in the videos still with you?
@@IVElmendorf You and I both suffered a loss. I lost mine on 03/01/2024; he was 19 years old. I had gotten him in July of 2020. Nobody wanted a senior dog. I am saddened to hear your journey with him will always be cherished, and you have his videos and good memories. I know your pain. We never get over the loss.
Allied is a joke. All my coworkers are lazy ignorant overweight and miserable. Not lying or exaggerating. Put my two week notice in last week after working for them for six months at Kaiser hospitals.
I worked for Vinson Guard in New Orleans as the Jefferson Parish Supervisor. Loved the job, loved my offciers, everyone did such a great job and my clients loved me. Allied bought them, everything went to shit. I was told constantly that I didnt know what I was doing because Allied didnt do things the way the contract was structured. They started switching my officers around for no reason, kept messing with the schedules and payrolls for no reason, i was almost always on posts, but I had to still do my duties somehow. Kept hearing shit about that. The last straw with me was wanting to be promoted and they told me "No. You're too good at your job and we need you where you are." Even though I was told that I wasn't "up to standard". So they had me train the person for the promotion I wanted and stopped answering my phonecalls in the same 2 days. I threw my uniform, phone, and laptop on my desk and told them I wasnt comming back. Guy I trained called me and told me he was also leaving and that I was right in calling it a circus. I was hoping it was only that office, but now Im doubting it.
Yep zero days off no pto no benefits in 7 years i worked so much forced overtime. I never have been give any payed sick days. Zero pay raises still same wages 9.25 a hour here in seymour indiana
Try working 16 hour shift for over 10yrs straight... yup that was me... nursing left got my own Trucking company. Now heading into armed security. Learning the ropes so I can open my own.
Allied universal is a miserable company to work for. Worked for em in Chattanooga. My sup was a good dude but everyone above them sucked fat hair donkey dick. Security is a good field to be in, but allied fuckin sucks.
here is my video from my first night in my house I bought at the end of last year...and yeah I was only able to afford a house because I lived in a van for over 3 years ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IEc4OrOzhpg.html
I feel you brother I used to work for them when they was Allied Barton in Georgia and you do make overtime if somebody doesn't come to the site on time like they was doing me I used to have to be there at 10:00pm to 7:00am and the guy will run late so I wouldn't get off till 8:00am in the morning but I went ahead and quit back in 2015 because they kept on and off on sites with me it wasn't guaranteed money and it pays every 2 weeks so I quit and I got my money back from the uniform too they are a absolute joke 😅
