For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
@@JamesGlenCarSales1982 THE best interior colour BMW produce. I have Oyster in my iX3 and Champagne in my E46 and as nice as they are, the Cognac is on another level!
I’ve always fancied having one of these because you can pick them up cheap nowadays but I’m always concerned about their reliability. I’ve not heard great things
@@JamesGlenCarSales1982 auto trader mentioned models prior to 2019 have some build quality issues, electric issues and engine etc. if it’s not entirely true then that’s good. Sometimes these magazines can go overboard
@@JamesGlenCarSales1982 I really want one to replace my Passat BiTDI (having had an e90 330d back in the day, I miss the driving feel of a BMW). Trying to convince myself I don't really need adaptive cruise control and an electronic handbrake 😕
Hi James, Great car! I really think that's an incredible package for a powerful daily driver. Just one question about the exhaust: are you sure the two pipes on the left are fake? Could there be a valve that opens depending on the gas pressure in the line? If that wouldn't be the case, that would be quite of a downside considering that the M340d has real ones.
Oh, sadly they aren't attached, just like the M340d's aren't either. The exhaust system isn't attached to neither, the squares or the quads are attached to the bumper only which is disappointing. Still love it no less !

I loved the interior in that! Black would be my last choice, always. It is marmite though. I know Scott, yes. Not seen him in a few years. I'd say the F10 M5 is more drift car on track that track car! Still, they can hustle and still manage an incredible level of comfort. My favourite (and best value) M5 so far. E39 next, then E60 George Galloway? No, never realised!!?
I have one 2015 It is a brilliant car, brutal, comfy, high-quality materials, performance , looks graet out and inside ! My have Audi sport exhaust, sounds great ❤i love it ,530 hp dragy test 3.95 sec 0 to 100kmh
This was one car that surpassed all my expectations, it really was 30-40% better than I expected, in all areas, apart from straight line speed, which I expected anyway. A very very underrated car.
Unreal review. Absolutely class and really gives a true reflection of the car. Was lucky enough to own 2 over 8 years, a manual for 2 and a dct for 6.Honestly think it’s BMWs best ever m car. Just pure joy. I own a Giulia qv now, also amazing but I want to buy another e92 m3 to keep for ever. The dct e92 is such an amazing drivers car, I miss the s65

@JamesGlenCarSales1982 I'm in Ireland, and since brexit , importing from UK adds vat , duty on top of the vrt ! Unfortunately buying in Ireland or Northern Ireland is the only option now.

I thought this car looked all wrong, wife doesn't like the colour, too heavy as well and that arch gap. Test drove it today, wife still hates the colour....so I bought it. Cheers lads. For anyone wondering, it's got a lively rear end, more so than the previous generation. Hides it's weight well from the 15min test drive I had anyway. It's still got a touch of old school rwd power to it which I liked.

Colour is just one of those very subjective things. Yes, it's a bit of an animal alright, but that 10stage TC is very trick, and really does let you get to a limit you're comfortable with. Would be something on a track with it all OFF. Maybe you can do that one day and let us know how you get on! And I totally agree with the visual statements regarding weight and looks, its hides the mass v well and the looks are easy improved, but is a car that can be photographed all wrong from a bad angle. I was really sad when I traded in my e92, I had the manual and loved the gearbox though it gave you a sore shoulder in heavy traffic sometimes. During lockdown I was reminiscing about it and saw it sold privately for 7k more than I traded in for, 4 years after! It seemed the manuals became desirable again after so many autos flooded the market. Don't think I'll have another car like that again. For me the E series were the last good looking M3's
As much as the newer cars are way way faster, there is something so so special about the E92 It really does feel totally over engineered, and that can only ever be a good thing. I think good examples will be with a small fortune very soon. They're on their way up now, as you've already experienced. Suppose, the same can be said for just about every good performance car, just some appreciated more than others down to supply and how strong the demand is. Stephen
this is one of FASTEST cars on road for this morning. Faster than standard 911s but has INCREDIBLE Torque 550nm to be exact. Can highly recommend this car as a drivers car. If you're not used to this much speed, get used to the car. Its better than M3, M4, M5
These are great cars. If you get one, get one. Things that will fail - water pump and thermostat. Easy to change- ignition coils and spark plugs, and oil also. GREAT CAR!
The supply of good ones is fast disappearing, and thats only squeezing the prices one way. I remember buying a 50k mile 2 owner car for 9k about 8yrs ago!
I recently bought a ‘15 speed yellow 981s …. Fully loaded Carnewal exhaust it’s amazing…. However I always wanted a 911 now I don’t think I do, the Cayman does everything I want from a Porsche so why pay double for ‘a proper 🙄’ Porsche
Hi Marcus, I'm lucky enough to own both 997 GT3 and 981 Boxster 2.7 and the me 10yrs ago would never have thought I'd take the keys of the 981 first. Sure, the 997 is more engaging and quicker, but there is just something so nice about how the Boxster rides over our UK roads.

I feel like the world is just waking up to these amazing machines, almost like Honda was ahead of its time 20+ years ago. Just recently got myself the second generation EuroR, so the 7th gen Accord. Timeless design, amazing fuel economy, unmatched reliability and way too much luggage space
I just bought an approved used - brilliant car but got an issue with steering wheel making squeaky noise in dynamic mode - but other than that great car - hopefully Audi will sort it out - in this price range way more practical & comfy than the c63 or m4
Thanks for the input Faz! Sounds like a minor issue I'm sure Audi will address for you, no probs. I really do see it as a car all of its own. Bit a of a hidden gem really!
And I still wear that smile every time I'm in it! We drove 650 miles from Brighton to Perth and back to Airdrie in one go and I could have drove back to Brighton that night! What a car for a road trip!
I have just got mine and I looove it - better than all the M's I've had before including V8 and V10 M5s, previous M4 Comps and M3s. Styling grows on you just like the more recent M4/3 kidney grills
I'm going to agree - on the full package side of things. The S65 at full chat is still an incredible experience, but the thing is, how often are you right up it? These new M2s offer absolutely everything, we just need to get use to or make a few tweaks to their appearance.
Unlike most of the current range, I'm a fan of these as an overall package. Not loving the huge slab of a screen but no new car is immune to that now, BMW or otherwise. Sapphire Black, Cognac and a manual box; I know how effective the ZF box is from experience but it would need to be a manual for me.
I had one of these, same engine, colour and interior. Lovely car. Great holiday in Devon. Boot very useful size. That was 10 years ago and it still looks good. Aged well.
Thanks for the feedback Malcolm! They are a lovely car to use for touring. My Dad owned one for a while about the same time as you, and we all enjoyed any time we were in the drivers seat.
Seriously Alan, I'm going to have one of these at some point. Such an impressive car and, as while it's not any smaller (foot print wise) than the M3, I prefer it styling wise. Few wee tweaks - lowered, spacers and in black with bronze wheels 🥰 Not that I've given it much thought, you understand!! lol
They did come with a manual! This is 35i not 35is. 35i was available with both manual and DCT... 35is was DCT only. Not much difference between them. Bit different engine software that had overboost function.. thats where the higher power rating comes from in the IS... engine itself same, cooling same, dct in both same. 35iS did get different engine mount(s) and different back section of the exhaust to sound a bit more sportier. + some esthetic touches like silver gauges and door mirror caps... other than that it was mostly an "option special"... lot of stuff was standard on 35is that was an option on 35i... like M-adaptive suspension and that M-DCT. Bit like porsche GTS models that also are mostly option specials made from the S model. Well kept example this car. Have a 35i with the same interior and havana brown metallic paint outside. Have had it for over 8 years now.
Thanks for the input, but this is a 987.1 .... and the Gen1 has the 2.7 It's funny actually, now I think about it, the 987.2 came with the 2.9, but then the 981 went back to a 2.7? That is properly odd!!
There really isn't much to compare to a stripped out Trophy-R R.S. have been making the best FWD specials for years. The Clubsport-S GTi is the only one that compares imho
Honestly Mark, it was one of the most beautiful places on earth I've been. Never thought I'd get use to seeing massive waterfalls, huge bodies of light blue water and endless tunnels through the mountains!
Great video, I enjoyed that. A few years ago I did the round trip from Yorkshire to Vilvoorde in Belgium and back in a day and a half in my MK1 Mégane Coupe which we took back to where it was assembled. The AZ-1 is a really interesting car, even by Keith car standard it stands out from the crowd. By the way I know two owners if silver Cappuccino's which is remarkable considering most of them were red. I wonder why the silver ones for inner wings painted white?
Glad you enjoyed it Mark. It was a rough cut, but gives an idea of the effort it took to bring the AZ home to Scotland. Yes, most Cappos are indeed red! I have a silver Cappo too. The inner wings aren't white though? Yorkshire to Belgium and back in 1.5days! wow, thats some going! Why was the trip so short? Surely, you must have wanted to take the place in a bit more? Reminds me of my one night stay at the Nurburgring! We got one lap, then red flagged until closing time. Got up the next day, rain pouring down and headed back to the ferry. It really wasn't the best trip at all!
Looks GREAT had an M2 Competion, loved it. It had NO DAMPERS on that car so on UK roads. There was Dampers on much slower normal M2. Sadly sold after 18 months. IF ANYONE KNOWS about the SUSPENSION on this car maybe if you test drove it or you own the new one would be GREAT to hear what you think to new M2 suspension. I am driving faster than most as ex racing driver, but the Competition was breaking my back nearly. THANK YOU
thanks for the comment! Yes, I think you had to go to the M2 CS before its fitted with EDC. I don't disagree, an M2 and M2C is a stiff car! I had an OG and changed the dampers for AST5100 and the car really was transformed. I am planning on doing a road test on this M2 soon. Please keep an eye on the channel for the upload 👍 Stephen
Nice to hear something positive about this warranty. My car has recently had to go in for some major work. Have read nothing positive about this warranty until today. Will report back when I know more. The garage are very busy at the moment so got to wait a couple of weeks.
@@stephenjacobs5640still waiting to hear back from the garage. They are fully booked up and for weeks and will surpose to be looking at my car this week so they said.
