Thanks very much for showing me how to reverse the lock on my Pismo. Kwikset has done a nice job with these as you no longer have to use a special tool, it only took me 10 minutes. I have five to go.

Sam! You just kept me from getting pissed off. This video was perfect timing. I wasn't able to deal with my kwikset cylinder flip. I was only seeing the other videos that show how to do it to their basic locks. Once I saw your video, totally by accident, it was a piece of cake. Yay! I did need to drill the handle on the opposite side of the allen screw hole. My handle had to be mounted on left due to the way the moulding had been placed. All is good...key goes in correct side up, and son of a gun, as if it was installed that way. Thanks for pointing out that Kwikset had this different mechanism. Thank you thank you Sam!

Thank you. Yes, all the other videos are for other lock sets that use the cylinder removal tool. I did reach out to Kwikset, and they sent instructions, but a bit hard to follow, so it's good to have a video to reference. Thanks again.

Thanks for putting this up! I thought I was going insane watching other videos after getting the spindle out and then struggling to get the cylinder out when it looked so easy!
