Looks a great game. Apparently it's almost an entirely different studio now than who made Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, which could explain the comical pivot from sleepy, quaint British countryside tale to "oh my god it's fucking eaten him" on an oil rig
You can't watch Zoids because its a cartoon and you're a " grown " man, but you say Miraculous is good? Like Miraculous lady bug??? Man, immediately thumbs down and i couldn't watch any further. Gross.
Right, I know the show .. but Miraculous is exponentially more childish than anything Zoids has ever put out. Adult animations exist, why do people default to the notion that anything other than Live Action is for children.
I always wonder: what the hell is happening with the game industry? The Tiktok generation? Lack of money? I always eat my part of the ''existencial crisis'' whenever i see bad productions, let's say. Because, you as a developer, recreates, at least in theory, the whole city of Barcelona, which for me is incredible. Even if they could have use some kind of 3d scanner, a lot of work would have to be done anyway. You have to set up the traffic network, 3d models and everything. It's not easy. But in the end, you bring something very unfinished and with no depth. Of course they're not dumb, they can clearly see the issues. But seems to me those games were create not to look poor at the first glance, but not too complicated after the two hours of testing has passed and you realized you commited a mistake. The last Saints Row is a great example of depression, deception and so on. But the difference with S.R, is that we knew it would be a crap months before the release. Of course i'm not a game developer, but we, as potential clientes, we recognize when something can be good or bad. For what i've seen, it's not and other people won't thrown their money away. Doesn't matter what, most of the games today are like this. Some of them are money grabbers. Some users said this same company created a train game before and just forgot about it just 7 months after it was released. Also, if you complain about stuff on their Discord channel, you get a mute ban for some days. So i expect nothing good. This is not the first neither the last one. I could also mention Cities Skylines 2, which is a sad game, where they didn't finished the game base, but then released some ''correction patches'', which added missing parts of the game you expected to be there since the day one.
So I picked this up and dropped it awhile back... picked it back up this week, and what the HELL? I'm on a PS4 pro as well, and there are tons of glitches and just poorly thought out stuff EVERYWHERE... like instead of Diablo having gold drops at say 290, for whatever reason, gold just keeps flying out of one spot, counting up by *1 coin each,* and often dropping like 13 pieces of equipment, all over the course of an excruciating 60-90 seconds. And even stranger, sometimes the drop point _moves around,_ so I'm spending 30 seconds looking at my phone as the gold drops one at a goddamned time, and when I look up, the gold may be fountaining out of the ground 20 feet away. And that's just _one_ issue. I'm wondering what's up as I've spent a day looking to see if anyone else had the problems in the past, but I've found nothing.
Still unable to get the 2 players working on the missions or the mini games. No matter what I do. Outright games did a poor job in that aspect which is part of the reason we bought it. 😢
Just got the last trophy on this one! The dialogue is so cheesy! But my kids love it and like playing this with me. 😂 The host is about a charismatic as a hemorrhoid! 😂 Love it!
Damnit, I was with you the whole way until I heard "procedurally generated maps." In other words, instead of having levels created by actual level designers that put in the time and effort to make sure every level and moment is designed specifically to create the most fun. Instead of that, they basically just allow a random number generator to create all the levels. Yeah, the levels might all be crap, but at least your never play 2 that are the same. Yaaaayyy
It's the one game (on PC) where losing RT feels like a major downgrade. The world comes to life with RT reflections and feels flat without. The game on console should never have offered RT in the first place imo - it gives false expectations and spoils the flow. This console gen has been a mess - UE5 + insisting on 4K + RT is a place where the hardware dies.
I would like the have fused both games in one, instead of have them separated. I remember playing them on PS2 was EPIC. I will wait for an offer price though!
