It varies from time to time, I bought mine in 2012 but the shop don't sell the kit any more. Google search for HMS Bounty Constructo 1:50 is your best option. Cheers
Fantastic. I am just starting out on my first model, but I am trying something much easier to begin with. I hope that one day I can match your lovely "Bounty"
Cheers! For straight forward plank bends I used a plank bending tool like this one www.amazon.co.uk/Plank-Bender-Bending-Model-Building/dp/B083XYNVVX . For more complex bends and where the plank also needed a twist I soaked the planks in water for a few hours, or overnight and then used an electric hair straightener on high heat to slowly bend and twist each plank. I got the idea of using wet and heat from this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O8CoV8fkYTI.html . Just remember that your first planking is really just a framework for your second planking. When you have the first planking on it might not look great, but you can use filler to finish off small gaps and sand it down, then the second planking is really straightforward because you're using much thinner veneer. This is a tough build for a first project, it took me a very long time to do, some days I'd only put on three or four planks. Best of luck!
