This is my dream man. Still in school for another year but already studying. Thanks for putting this video together so I could have a vision of the future… hopefully!
My dad was one of you!! He was awarded his Navy wings in Pensacola on November 28, 1947. Eventually, he became chief test pilot for Bell Aerosystems on the Bell X-22A.
I am in flight school now and I got a 58 7/8/7 on my ASTB. Draw from the Barrons flight aptitude test book. It is the closest in my opinion. Also, it sounds crazy, but pick up video games. It will help you out on the hand-eye coordination part of the test. Good luck.
The ASTB isn't bad, and yeah sounds weird but video games actually helped a lot, the main issue is the OAR portion and honestly just go through an SAT prep book and just go over algebra they navy is in need of pilots rn across all platforms btw
Hey, I have a quick question for you. By the time I graduate with a bachelors I will be 26 YO, is it going to be too late to get a fighters spot in Navy?
+AssyrianKing4ever I believe the max age is 27 years old. Please check with your local Navy Officer Recruiting Office. More than likely you will go through OCS with an aviation contract.
+AssyrianKing4ever You'll be age critical but I got picked up when I was 25 I'm 26 now and waiting on OCS ,you can start the process before you graduate too!
+AllThingsFlightSim Sounds great. I didn't join Air Force ROTC this past fall (that was my last chance) because I didn't think I would have enough time to study for AFOQT. I think I will do OTS when I graduate. Bottom line, I gotta go and talk to recruiters outside of my school but sadly they have a very limited knowledge on this topic. Glad you got picked. It must be some exciting time for you. Did you do OTS or ROTC?
I didn't do ROTC either if your interested in being a Navy pilot, you need to get the ball rolling as your age critical if you want to join the Air Force you have till your 29 ( I think)
Congrats on becoming a Flight Attendant for Delta Airlines. Since my father retired from Delta, one of my fondest memories as a young person, is flying on Delta to California, dressing in Sunday best, and being taught to fly in class. I still believe the only way to fly is Delta Airlines! They hire only the best, and once again, congrats!
I know what it means to fly and I know how hard it can be. My husband is Flight Attendant for AA. and we have been together for 23 years. We met in SEA in November 1991 when I frst got hired on the ramp. Lived in Miami for 14 years with AA and moved back to SEA area 9 years ago. Lost my job at AA in June 2012.
Love it. Im former Fleet Service from AA for 21 years. Had to leave my job in SEA almost 3 years ago. You guys have contacted me for FA.. Including Jerry from Human recorses. I have done assesment. Im ready for a class this summer or ASAP.
AWESOME!! Can you disclose who the pilot was? My son was doing his quals on this boat from 2/11-2/17. That is just amazing what these guys do, and especially at night, with a pitching deck!
