🤪 Hi! 🤓👋 We’re Nathan and Amy, we are a UK based couple who share our cruise travel adventures with vlogs and review videos.
Picture this; it's 2015, and we're stuck in the 'where should we go next?' dilemma. When Nathan stumbled upon a cruise ad, and guess what? That was the start of our deep-SEAted love affair. Little did we know that we would find a new passion with cruising that's still going strong. Land holidays? Oh, we waved them goodbye!
Our goal? To bring you along with us on our travels as if you were in the cabin next door! 😉 and perhaps, maybe even infect you with the cruising bug.
Whether you're a seasoned cruiser or just simply curious. Please consider subscribing to our channel, and we can tread the waves together with our goofy antics and a hint of theatricals! 🌊🎭
Not sure which Celebrity video you’re referring to? We haven’t deleted any videos…. All our Celebrity vlogs are in our Celebrity Edge playlist if you cannot find it?
@@NamyDoesCruising there was one month ago or so we watched half then it was gone. I can't see any celebrity now in the recent videos sorted chronologically. 🤷
@@mtbtrailshredder Ah! The Celebrity cruise was actually a few trips back, so it’s further down on our list now. If you go to our playlists, there’s a ‘Celebrity’ playlist that’s in the correct order. Here’s the link: ru-vid.com/group/PLmeQM1Wwt4Xs-6ZlhYOStt-Wzye4A74-l&si=FEmTAPOOPp2IekJa Alternatively, if you’d like to use the ‘Recent’ tab, it will appear just before the Azura series. Hope this helps! 😊
@@NamyDoesCruising Safe to assume any weirdness im experiencing here is youtube but i sware it was new last month or two , not 11 months ago oh well. Cheers.
We know right?! 😂 Out of all the cruise lines we’ve been on, we wouldn’t rate MSC the highest for food quality! But they definitely offer the fun factor!
@@NamyDoesCruising I do enjoy Amy’s puppet show better, no offense Nate. It’s just your puppet voice creeps me out. But I’m just one guy. Don’t listen to me mate.
Ok, I have a few thoughts…….. that light buffet looked absolutely awful, the pool was contaminated probably because some scumbag had bleeding feet and didn’t care, and Amy definitely broke the toilet paper holder!!!
Hi! Good vídeo! In which month you travel? Its too much people and child for me..but i like de boat..so maybe in septembre is more apropiate for me? Thank you guys for the video!
Thanks for watching! 😃 We travelled in June on this cruise. Not sure if September would be any quieter, as when we were onboard, it wasn’t the school holidays! Also, believe Virtuosa may be cruising around the Norwegian Fjords in September, which isn’t a bad thing at all, just depends on your preferences….!
We watched this last night. Great job! It reminds us of a much more modern and glitzy Costa. I don't think you're ever going to get a lounge big enough for everyone, but there seems to be plenty of lounges and like our experience with Costa, somewhere to suit you. We definitely want to give MSC a try now. Top job! 🍻
MSC’s newer, modern ships are definitely fancy and glitzy! What frustrates us though (even with other cruise lines), is that the venues seem to be so much smaller compared to older ships we’ve sailed on. We definitely think you two would enjoy MSC - they seem quite similar to Costa from what we’ve seen in your vlogs! Thanks for watching guys! 😃
I was a "first time cruiser" when we did a cruise on the VIRTUOSA .We had nothing to compare it with but we had a wonderful time.We were all inclusive with an out board cabin and cannot fault the cruise in any way.Food was good staff were very civil and the drinks just kepy flowing. Will go again when conditions are suitable. Dave Williams
Hi Dave! 👋 We’re so glad to hear you had a great time on your Virtuosa cruise. There’s really nothing quite like cruising! 😃 While there can be minor issues, they’re never enough to spoil the experience for us. Be sure to let us know which cruise you decide on next when the time comes! It might be tough to top your first cruise now! 😉
Just got back from a 2 week Mediterranean cruise on the Azura and all I can say is, my wife and I loved it. Life should be enjoyed and being on a cruise just brilliant. I really pity the people who troll Cruise Critic forums just to complain, their lives must be a misery.
We're so glad to hear you enjoyed your Azura cruise! It's hard to imagine how some people struggle to enjoy cruising when, as you said, they’re such a brilliant experience. But we guess there will always be those who focus on the little things, which must really take away from their overall enjoyment! Thanks for your comment and for watching! 😃
@@NamyDoesCruising I know, its terrible, having to wait for a drink for 2 minutes in the sunshine and shorts and flipflops, how will i ever cope? I wish i was back at work!!! 😃
I was on this ship last year and agree with everything covered in this video. The Carousel lounge shows are excellent and worth spending £9 (if paid for in advance which is what I did) ... BUT it is essential as soon as onboard to go to the designated place to book seats at performance of choice. The spa (thermal area) is also one of the best at sea, lots of choices for different types of rooms, hot, cold, dry, steamy etc and that is alongside the thermal area jacuzzis. Buy a package in advance, but as soon as on board go and book the time slots you want .. it does get busy and sells out. Note, this is a British style venue, single sex shared changing (US - locker) rooms but mixed sex spa rooms, and everyone must wear swimwear - certainly not textile free!! For other shows in the theatre it is possible to reserve space using the MSC app. It is difficult to identify why the ship is overcrowded so much of the time, and so many venues/places full to the gills, likewise long queues for shuttle busses at ports, at the buffet, the excellent games areas etc, likely to be worse on school holidays when there are many children onboard, perhaps the balance between venue sizes and numbers onboard has been set badly? The ship is great, wonderful and offers a very wide range of options, I'd be very happy to sail again, indeed I look at some of the older and much smaller ships and worry after the Virtuosa if they would feel they miss something, almost second rate. I was on the Splendida this year, another MSC ship, slightly older and just a little smaller, still a great ship but the advances on the Virtuosa were clear to see.
We completely agree with your thoughts! Virtuosa is a fantastic ship with so much to offer, but it’s unfortunate that queues are common in many venues and even when embarking or disembarking. It seems like MSC’s approach is to draw guests in with low fares, only to then pack the ship and encourage onboard spending. Thanks so much for your detailed comment and for watching our video! 😃
Not sure we understand what you mean by this? If you mean the script for the video, one of us will usually take the lead for a particular video, and the other will usually give their input too and edit as necessary. We try and add the jokes as we go along!
@@NamyDoesCruising copy is basically your script. It’s cool that you both write it together. As always I love your humor. Copy is an industry term that means script.
@kennethfinnegan2978 We thought you meant the script, just had never heard it called a copy before! Now we're learning something from you! 😊 We're really glad you enjoy our humour too!
Go check out our vlog series aboard MSC Virtuosa! See how our newbie friends got on. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H0hnR6kIxr8.htmlsi=SlrETp8WuFSUePFk
Thanks so much guys! Well, it's a long story, but ended with Nathan saying "You do you!". Not the wisest thing he's ever said haha! 🤣 All healed now thanks! 😊 Hope you guys are well?
We had a lovely time, thank you. It was especially nice to take some of our closest friends and introduce them to cruising as well ☺️ Amy didn’t give him much of a choice!! 😂😂
Good to see you back again. We've missed you. That looks a beast of a ship. Don't worry Amy, I don't know what's going on half the time either. I've never been to that port, it's really beautiful. Oo that sunburn looks sore Amy. We love a Teppinyaki. Great video guys 🍻
Thanks guys! It's great to be back 😃 She certainly is a beast, and a really lovely port to visit! Our aftersun definitely got utilised on this cruise haha! 🤣 And the Teppanyaki dinner was so so good! 👍
Just got back from two weeks out of Malta. She's a lovely ship. no issues as far as we were concerned, just a lovely holiday, good crew and entertainment staff. Go for it!
Really glad you had a great cruise on her! 😃 Other than her being a bit tired, we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on Azura! But after her refit next year, we're sure she'll look a lot fresher. You certainly can't complain about a good value cruise with P&O!
I don't know what's going on. Haha. I won't be able to unhear that now. No matter how 'not that hungry' you are, there's always room for a more snazzy breakfast, guys. Even a 3rd sausage.... 😅
Haha! She does like to say that a lot on cruises! 😂 Nathan obviously couldn't be bothered to fight his way through the crowds at the buffet to grab a third sausage! 🤣
Just came off Virtuosa today, day after the woman tragically went over board last night at 2 am. The alarm and the man over board alerts were chilling to say the least.
This is very sad news to read 😞 Our best wishes and thoughts go out to their family. We could imagine the alerts and alarm would be extremely chilling to hear whilst onboard. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your cruise? We did see Virtuosa docked in Palma when we embarked Marella Voyager last Saturday.
Possibly…. Celebrity is a completely different product offering to P&O. We would consider Celebrity as a much more luxurious line compared to P&O. However, if price is your main reason for booking, then you may not be too disappointed. But you will definitely need to go in with an open mind. Thank you so much for watching our review. We do also have vlog series onboard P&O Iona and Azura - so it might be worth giving these a watch to see if they help you? 😃
