Went Jamaica first time 2 weeks ago, solo. NO ALL INCLUSIVE. I had more enjoyable Jamaican food in the USA than Jamaica 2 weeks ago. The food was mid. I was told the food was going to be good in Jamaica.
Kola nut is called Bisi and so it is in Jamaica. Jamaican historical figures Nana the her brother Kojo are Ghanaian names. Marcus Garvey 's mother told him his ancestors are the people of the Golden Stool which are the Ashanti 's in Ghana.
No, it is not the main religion. Christianity is the main religion of TT. There is only 1 Hindu based public Holiday. There are 6 Christian based Public Holidays. Stop spreading misinformation. No, TT is not a Mini India. Do not insult the country like that.
All the Caribbean Islands are unique and we love our family here in the Caribbean and enjoy our uniqueness and beautiful weather beaches food people waterfalls natural beauty and so much more. Great content keep up the good work 👏🏽👍🏽❤
I am jamaican and the difference between the Caribbean is that we have a Caribbean community and not a union because all unions can be broken but no one wants to destroy there community because thats were we have to live work and do business.
The lineage doesn't reflect if your parent of grandparents were born in JA. Just as long as they are a citizen, that is good enough. So the generations after you must keep registering as a ja citizen so the generations after you can maintain being Jamaican.
Love this video! I always tell people how similar both countries are. I visited Jamaica several times and now I live part time in Ghana. I’m so happy you took the time to create this content and show the world!
caribbean islands claim to be INDEPENDENT from UK rulership. the concept of independence is an administrative thing. its only on paper. these islands are still influenced by the BRITISH SYSTEM and still depend on britain...the leadership is brainwashing their nations
Not all caribbean islands are independent, many more are not republics, this is common knowledge. The islands were colonised not only by the british but other european nations hence spanish, french, dutch etc are spoken on different islands; and the remnants of those systems will be there. Finally what system would you replace it with? because I like to read to about solutions.
I love this video, most videos u see, are so negative towards other countires. I love how u embraced both countries, because they both are beautiful in their own way. Please do more. Food wise.
Interesting video covering the food, culture, music among other things of Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica. Despite the Indo population is slightly larger that the Afro Trinidadian population, there is many contribution by Afro Trinibagonians - cou cou, calaloo, pound plantain (Tom Tom), bene ball etc. I would have like to see mention made of the Orisah religion and Spiritual baptist(african influence) The spirtual baptists religion is similar to Revivalism in Jamaica. Also the Tobago Heritage Festival. Overall, great video.
