I’m conflicted one side I understand it’s private property but on the another hand it’s just a goddamn parking space! Would make more sense if they stayed for too long (hours; whole days) and never left. This was just a few mins then? God the things you people easy get upset over like dad except we don’t have a house.
The homeowner was nicer than I would have been. I wouldn't have confronted him. I would have just called the police and had them tow his car at his expense.
I paid for my driveway with 23 years of pounding nails. Go buy your own driveway. Definitely can be a mistake but theres no way im taking chances with any stranger.
WTF is wrong with the street curb where the taxes he pays is at work!? This is how psychopaths find a weakness to exploit. Suppose there is a elderly person there living alone and they do odd jobs? It’s best that ppl stay where they belong.
Liability, if that car parked illegally in someone else’s property happens to impede the owner of the property in any way ( for example, a medical emergency) the owner of the car can be sued . Do not park in any private property or block the access to one, you can have huge legal liability issues.
So dude was lost, mistook the house for another, was having issues either with the car or himself, is crazy and trying to rob the homeowner, has previous issues against the owner, is the wifes side piece, or on drugs.. not on drugs cuz police let him go. Not a thief or at least not now as cops have his info in case something gets stolen.. not mentally ill or distraught seeing on his calm demeanor and not being taken into custody.. not a big trouble with the car.. so that pretty much leaves the guy making a woops wrong house and the owner is a passive whistleblower with a fear of getting robbed so they’re over protective.. ascertained from the posting of such a video depicting nothing unlawful, only mildly inconvenient if somebody would have needed to use the driveway during that period of time..
There was some conflict going on between the guy in the black pickup across the street, and the trespassing Parker. They both arrive at the same time. The pickup driver gets out and walks back and forth watching the Parker. The Parker was scared to get out of his car and when he did he was on his phone immediately. Road rage incident ?
Yep, parents picking up kids are some of the worst decision makers on the road. Our schools have a huge problem with this due to the very high numbers of middle eastern people dropping off and picking up. The second they are called out for their poor driving, they slide into the shrug, smile, and shake their head like they don’t understand. So many parents complained to the school district, they petitioned to have a local officer post up in the drop off area to keep them all in line. Mornings he’s there, it’s all smooth, when he’s not it’s absolute chaos. They know what they are doing, and they just don’t care. What’s more, their spoiled snowflakes can’t be bothered to walk three blocks, they all drive their kids, even when the weather is fine.
The two neighbors across the street just suddenly arrive home seconds after this guy pulls into your driveway? This guy has parked in your driveway on other occasions. Just look at the way he slows down to enter your driveway.
My parents -in-law lived across from a local tertiary education facility and people would often block the driveway. WE had a friend with a tow truck who towed a guy who had been asked before not to park there. We have no idea where he towed the car to and don't care but the guy never parked there again. Cops came and asked questions but we just played dumb.
this happens in England too, especially near airports. One guy had a strangers car on his drive for a week while the owner went on holiday, and some weird law means if you touch it you end up in court. Go figure.
I dont care if someone is visitng a friend illegal parking infront of my house if rhey do it. I would call the copa get rheir car towed. Whether parked the wrong way or on the sidewalk. Id get that a hole out of there by getting it towed.
Years back some a-hole parked in my parents driveway while I still lived there. There was a night time carnival up the road a bit and cars would always line the streets in legal on-street parking, but this a-hole parked in my driveway. I stole the battery out of his car and went to bed. Car was gone by the time I woke up in the morning. Never heard anything more about it.
Wow, I can't believe people do this kind of stuff. I remember a couple of times this has happened to me before where some random person parked on my driveway for some time. I liked how the police showed up in time just before the offender was able to leave the scene. 😂
Cops used to back down into neighbors barn to hide for speeder’s. He came home from work at midnight cops pulled him over gave him a ticket for taillight out. Before they got to his barn . Cops parked in his barn he drove around corner a mile, got his tractor parked it in his barn drive and walked away cop car sat there until 12:00 the next day when sheriff apologized and thru ticket out and officers were trespassed from hunting on his 600 acres they found out it would have been better to give him a fix it
If someone did that to me, it would be a shame if I was "working" with bricks and rocks on my roof and one slipped and fell off into MY driveway where another car seemed to be 🥲
