You know what else you could’ve prevented! Me having to pay for ANOTHER CT scan before my surgery for absolutely no reason at all! But because you guys are money hungry I had to pay over $175. Cannot wait to switch insurances! Anything has to be better than this BS
Sexuality should stay behind closed doors and be a private matter, just like a religious belief. You don`t need rainbow parades or places of worship to live in accordance with your conscience, moral core and to be satisfied with life. Until you understand that certain things should be in the private sphere of each of us... humanity will argue and fight with each other. This government healthcare is worse then before and the “You can keep your doctor promise” well that’s not the case in most cases. Also the deductibles keep escalating and premiums to. My ductable the first year was $1100. And now they’re $7,000 -$10,000. It’s only going to get worse and coverage will continue to be limited in order to cut costs.

All the symptoms suggested for visiting the Urgent Care facility CAN be indicative of a life threatening development - e.g., abdominal pain can be appendicitis, or ectopic pregnancy, etc., eye inflammation could be due serious injury to the eye (for example, a student was stuck in one eye with a pencil lead; she developed sympathetic ophthalmalia, due to inadequate diagnsis & treatment, and lost sight in both eyes0....I could go on, but let's just say the arrogance & overconfidence of the for-profit "health" business, trusting to algorithms, rather that individual diagnostic workups, is exhausting.
I have found Urgent Care walk ins to be a great balance between the medical alternatives available these days. I also know that trying the Urgent Care doesn't prevent one from then ending up in the ER. The physicians and PAs at an Urgent Care won't hesitate to pack you right off to the ER if they see a need. I trust them to recognize appendicitis or other conditions that may need immediate hospitalization, more than I trust myself to make that call. The cost is also weighs in here.

Blue Shield must have found something they don't want to atone for in their call logs.... Why do you have the time and money to make these marketing videos but not have the time and money to get me my meds and do a proper investigation as to why you denied me my meds and treat me with a basic level of humanity and respect. Whoever made this commercial- I was behind the scenes and it appears to me that the director and the little girl's parents were pedophiles. By the way, I know for a fact that the cover photo of when you go on Blue Shield's channel page- the one with the black baby- it was taken by an actual pedophile. SHAME ON YOU, BLUE SHIELD. I WILL NOT BE SILENT.
Too bad the tool isn't trustworthy. I've used their online tools and still got sent to out-of-network providers. The only way I knew was because I called the urgent care beforehand to cross-reference. Never trust blueshield to tell you the truth about billing.
