You conflated journalism with journalists. Those people who used to deliver us information on topics but now tell us things they've been paid to. Not the act of delivering un-bias information. The product of corporate greed and complete ownership of a fiscally conservative narrative that walks lockstep together. Who's questioning our 9 violent occupations? Maybe you're too young, but they used to do that. Do you even know what's happening in Syria? There used to be "journalists" at these wars "investigating." Now they don't even have an investigative department at almost all these corporate publications. They just repeat what alphabet agencies tell them to. The whole of investigative journalism, which they were loved for is even demonized by them...
To touch on the point of Rorschach here and his characterization, he is definitely very vocally anti liberal in his first lines in the movie. That long winded speech he gives directly names the "liberals" and "intellectuals" and he dismisses them with the "they don't have anything to say" line, so he is characterized as such. Homophobic and racist, maybe not in the film, but in the novel...Holy shit is he a God awful person. Worse so than in the movie. What Drinker said is true, he is definitely a bigoted conservative, he's just a watered down version of what that looks like.

i mean, as another bisexual man, if you do come out as bisexual in the army, a lot of guys just call you gay, simply because you like guys as well as girls and never try to understand it and they act as if you only ever have feelings towards guys
