Thank you for the time and the information, they are very useful. Moving to Portugal is the best and the wise decision. It is my dream hope to achive it soon. 👍🩶
Hi Guys, i woke up 5 years ago at age 43 and lost all control from waist down and even after emergency operations on my back i still can't walk unaided. So go for it, life is way too short. I hope you enjoyed Edinburgh, its an amazing city but I'm biased cause i stay there 🤣🤣
Hi guys, I remember seeing your property up for sale. So glad you bought it! Looking forwards to seeing what you do with the place! I have plans to move to Portugal too, so eagerly following several journeys. I wish you both all the best and hope to catch up one day! x
Hi welcome to Portugal. My husband and I retired here, from the UK, 12 years ago and have never looked back. We are nearer Coimbra, but you have chosen a lovely area. Boa sorte!
OLA. PARABENS, ESTAO NO PARAISO, FORA DOS GRANDES CENTROS URBANOS ONDE HA AR PURO E SEM CORRERIAS, TEEM BASTANTE ESPAÇO, NESSE MEIO TODA A GENTE SE CONHECE E HA A AJUDA MUTUA. SEJAM FELIZES, VOU VOS SEGUINDO. ABRAÇOS
Euros 870k, that’s a crazy price and you would still have to spend at least 75k renovating. Land 100k, build new house 200k, landscaping 60k with pool, maximum 400k.
Great property and ofc best feature is the beach. For me i would rather live in mobile home, closer to the beach. It is expensive but also there are a lot more expensive homes in us, france, spain and so on - close to the beach or rarely having private beach access.
What potential you have in this property, enjoying your videos and lovely couple wish you both the best in life, take care I am following you on the journey. XX😊
I am not a huge fan of painting wood but I have seen china cabinets similar to the one in your kitchen painted and they looked beautiful! You could paint the table and chairs to match. Some pretty colour with a Portuguese flair. Blue is quite popular there isn’t it? I would put that lovely big dining table in the kitchen. It is a beauty! Lovely bright rooms! Looking forward to seeing what you will do with the place!
I think you have got a lovely house there at least you could live in it while you do it up lots of land to grow your food you have your work cut out but will be lovely
I have yet to be to the market in Tomar although we have visited the town/village many times and do much of our grocery shopping there. Hope to finally make it there on a market day next month.
Where are you located, we recently purchased a home in the Arega area. (A13 exit 23). Glad to see a young couple undertaking such a project, we wish we had done this when we were as young. I subscribed and am looking forward to watching your progress and seeing how you adjust to the new culture. Best of luck to you both.
@@ourjourneybeyond Sorry I don't ever ask Famous RU-vidr but you're living my dream. I want to make this happen for myself too. I'm actually moving from the USA to England in 3 weeks. But England is cold and I love it, however, I'm a tropical weather person. Portugal is perfect it allows you to grow your favorite trees, fruits, and veggies... please let us know how you come to buy your house. How much it is if not too much to ask. Can I purchase the house online? did you need a lawyer? can you do a mortgage? or do you have to pay for the whole thing? Are you guys working online? Sorry for asking so much. Anyway, you both are a lovely couple! Keep doing what you are doing! I am now a big fan of your adventure! Hopefully, this will help me too.
I love the land with all the fruit trees what a bonus. The house doesn't seem in that bad of condition. The best advice I can give anyone renovating is do one room at a time. So you're not overwhelmed by so projects. 🙂💐
Congrats, looks like a great plot of land, plenty of buildings and they seem in ok condition. Think this is 1st Portugal land tour ive watched (and ive watched alot of them) without the corus of barking dogs in the background 😂 good luck 👍
the demand for private access to the river and the very low inventory with these specifications. It won't be easy to find private access to that river for less than 1M
That can be such a lovely place. Congrats for your purchase. If I may ask, how big is the village and if you willing to answer what is the price range for similar houses there? Also why in Portugal? What was the decision factor for you? I personally like Portugal a lot and I wish someday to be able to visit/relocate as well. I wish you the best of luck and can't wait to see how your home will come along.
