They can't be dropping the Carey tie-in cause Museum: Deadly Exhibits has a crate outside originating from Carey and Slaughter Sinema 2 takes place at the Carey Drive-In theater.
Wicked Growth: Realm of the pumpkin was just SOOO SOOO GOOD!! I remember the lines for that house were always so long bc everyone loved it so much! Honorable mention would have to be Puppet Theater: Captive Audience for me! Such a beautiful concept and stage...
Okay but we have to mention... speaking of sounds: the sound when walking into the Insidious house this year is HAUNTING! If you're a fan of the movies you just get that pit in the stomach feeling!
one of those hellblock horror clips.. why is the dude wearhing a mushroomhead mask? like straight up, it's just a mushroomhead mask like the band wears.
The entire event (only speaking for the Hollywood CA location) has been going downhill for years. Im so tired of Blumhouse houses and Walking dead houses, year after year. Another chucky, another halloween house. Another mexican themed ghost story. Another weekend house. They are all so lazy now.
My favorite house of all time is a 3- way tie between 'Dollhouse of the dammed' 'Halloween' and 'Monsters and Mayhem'. That first insidious house from 2015 almost made it on my top 3, its definitely on my top 5 though. I stated this in your other videos but 24 and 25 are the best years in my opinion.
my favorite HHN year of all time is HHN 25. Pretty much every house and scare zone was top tier that year. Freddy vs Jason, Insidious, Monsters and Mayhem, Walking dead, etc. I liked that scare zone that mixed both the classic monsters and modern slashers, i forgot the name of that scare zone but it was right in front of the disaster ride. I think the problem with HHN for the last few recent years is that they're lacking the passion and heart. Ever since 2015 it's been going downhill with the quality and interest. It feels like they care more about the designs rather than the actual scare factor. A lot of these houses have cool sets but aren't ACTUALLY scary..
as someone who did watch the chucky show bc of 2023's ultimate kill count, I had a great time in the house!! chucky is now my favorite tv show and while im not gonna claim the house was spectacular it is a little unfair to judge a house on a concept that one didn't choose to experience. It'd be like saying the insidious house is weird for having a bunch of random demons in it or that the quiet place house uses ASL for no recognizable reason if you haven't watched either of the movies i do agree that the f&f house placements always feel super underwhelming. wish they'd retire it as a location but i guess there isnt another good place in the back center of the park for a house
6:50 Fun fact, Graveyard Games is the first time that HHN Orlando ever used a pitch black, completely sound proofed section in a house. Since then it's been utilized by a good number of other houses!
If I had to assume, I think it’s all Hollywood Legends/Universal movie stars from around the time. I also think people were less worried about lawsuits and the like back then
I think the best maze of 2024 was easily Insidious. I genuinely haven't been that scared in my life. The ending with the tiptoe through the tulips song playing where all the demons popped through the curtains still gives me nightmares. Also, Slaughter Sinema 2 is a close 2nd, such an amazing maze
Same. I had to take a break after I went in insidious. Scariest house I’ve ever been in. Also slaughter cinema was my favorite because it was scary and also funny.
@harrypotterlover3901 I thought SS2 was so detailed, and I'd genuinely love to see some of the segments be turned into full on mazes, especially the finale
Well that’s funny cause I’ve never been into Halloween Horror Nights or even go to Universal Studios Hollywood lmao! Is this assign for me to go to Universal Studios Hollywood and Halloween Horror Nights?
I genuinely think they should have one house every year that’s still intense and detailed but theres no scare actors to scare you. The thought of mannequins coming alive and jumping at you is scarier
I really hope they don’t get rid of the Carrey stuff. I have never been able to go due to medical issues but my fav houses have always been the Carrey, OH ones, especially Mr.Meatz and H.R. Bloodngutz (hence my love of Late Night with the Devil lol). I wished they would have put the Sweets and Triplets houses/scarezones in Carrey as well bc it fits the story so well!
We always get the Rush of Fear pass and come for 5+ days. During at least one of our HHN nights we just eat the food, see a show, and ride the rides :) Even that can be too intense for some people due to going through scare zones and this was a great video to cover all the non scary stuff that can be done during the day.
