I was on a vacation in Italy this year and saw like maybe one or two Abarths there. But when driving through Switzerland I saw like 10 in a day. I guess they just love Abarth
For anyone looking for an answer, this is simply a muffler delete. He cut a hole at the top of the muffler, gutted the two resonators inside, and welded the top back in place. Doing so you keep the EOM valves, and if you get pulled over for being too loud, there's no way to see that the car is not stock.
