Bonjour. Et oui, il faut un premier commentaire. Une renaissance dans le temps s'annonce avec une equipe de passionnés et un avion Exceptionnel. Difficile de transmettre quelque chose par écrit mais quand on aime l'aviation. Ce que peut transmettre ce genre d'avion est aussi bien compliqué à décrire en douleur (guerre) émotion et immagination. je suis du sud ouest (france), Nous sommes spécialement venu (x4) voir votre meeting en 2023. What Difference in this 777X with the 737 MAX? The deadly issue with the 737 MAX was due to this same design: - the (original) 737 was designed with engines very low to ease their maintenance and service on ground. - The 737 MAX being designed with larger engines than the 737, in this new design those new larger engines could no more be installed in the same place. - A reasonable solution would have been to make the landing gear and the whole plane higher - Boeing selected another path, costing less in studies and delays: keep the landing gear and whole aircraft unchanged, but displacing the engines fare more ahead. This unfortunately was NOT as economical as first thought: the changes in gravity center, hence in balance in flight, were big enough to require in turn an important change in (manual or automatic or combined or assisted) flying; to avoid the delays for a new certification Boeing simply changed the flight instructions and spoke very little of the change in balance and computer-assisted flying. So I am not sure Boeing will recover confidence from pilots and companies with this 777X that looks a little too similar to the deadly 737 MAX. Correcting at once and totally both aircraft 737 MAX and 777X may look expensive, yet it may be actually the less expensive and most efficient choice in the long term.
