One word for the job you did on this bike... C L E A N. Beautiful job man. I just wish they had more aftermarket rear fenders to choose from. The rear fender on the Fat Bob ruins/interrupts the flow line from the front to back and it bothers me. If I could put a fender on that was around 1.5" lower I would be happy!
Fully agree. There is a lower rear suspension but just by a few centimeters...and other ones much lower and better that are not made for two-passengers seats. I'm working now on adapting the headlight of the new breakout to my fat bob.
Hi Jeremy, the button comes with the Kesstech exhaust. It allows to fully open, half open or close the pipes. It allows like this to chose the exhaust sound that we want depending where we are simply by pressing on a button. Kesstech exhausts are simply the best!!!!!
An example here of an old version of the Kesstech system on another bike then mine. It shows the sound difference when you press on the button. From stock sound to full open 😀 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PFgIjPPtD3k.html
Yes, they have been painted. No need to repaint them. After a year and a lot of riding under hot sun and hot temperature (incl. pipes and engine), zero sign of paint bubbles or other. Clean! Chose the right paint that can support high temperature and not the basic one.
It is just a little bit less confortable when you accelerates as you have less to retain your back compared to the stock seat. Nearly no difference for 1 or 2 hours. For more, I would keep the stock one.
Nice job! Do those mirrors hit the tank when bars are fully turned either way? Also did you need the adapters to mount them or just the hardware that came with the mirrors worked? Thanks
Hi Richard, no they don't touch the tank if you install them with the right angle. Took me a few tries to find the right position. Now they touch the tank only if I completly turn the bar at the maximum, which I rarely do. But that's the only mirrors I found that do not touch the tank. Others are too big. And you do not need specific screws. I used the existing ones. You may want to buy black screws, but that's just aesthetic.
