My wife’s cousin lives along the Mendenhall River. I told him years ago that he should seriously consider relocating to another part of the state because of how rapidly the Mendenhall glacier was receding and that experts were concerned and voicing their warnings about a potential glacial break. He’s the type of person who became convinced by climate denying politicians and ridiculed me and said that I was falling for science lies. We talked to him yesterday. His house is gone. His business is gone. He refused to talk to me because he’s afraid that I’m going to say, “Told you so.” My wife explained to him that I don’t think about him that way and that he’s not the only one who was intentionally misled about the fact that climate is in fact changing because of human activity. I sincerely hope that this unfortunate event is a wake up call to those who fell prey to those in power who have chosen profit over humanity.

Global warming... oops, climate change is about creating a narrative to seize control and absolute power to dictate how the rest of the world should live. This is an element of the 2030 Sustainability Goals put forth by elites desperately trying to keep control. Why should anyone on the planet listen to them when these are the same people of the industrial age, big tech, bailed out banking cartels. Corporations run the show, this is all a power struggle amongst themselves. What ever they do will be in their favor, crushing the useless eaters while flying around the world in Bombardier 350 private jets. Stop thinking oil cartels are the only bad thing, any corporation with money power, political influence is a danger to freedom. Don't you get it they don't care about you, there desire is to rule over and control you. Every crisis we see today is being used to pit all citizens of the world against each other. This is the first tactic of warfare, a war with no bullets. Actual it's to interrupt enemy communications, and control the narrative. This has been happening for a long time, while today they shut down opposing forms of free speach. They get people to destroy themselves. If we shut things down in the name of climate change there will a catastrophe. What is not sustainable is the monetary system they set up in the first place which has been corrupt from the being. They are desperate to initiate the BIG RESET so they can shift into a new system of control if this happens globally people will never be free. You want to make an impact on climate change? Lead by example, get a battery operated car where kids have to go into mines or strip mine and destroy the earth for lithium in someone else's country where we don't have to see it. Then when your Prius battery runs out in 8 years pay 5k for more batteries from strip mines. Then plug in your car causing energy demand to go up through the roof, putting stress on hydroelectric and yes COAL and Nuclear plants. You can be like a Californian, buy an electric car and then they tell you can't charge it be cause California is so benevolent to no longer produce their own energy, sourcing from other states to do the dirty work. My Ford F250 Diesel gets way better MPG than other Gas engines especially the Toyota Tundra. The gas Toyota gets 9-12 MPG highway, my Ford Diesel gets 18MPG highway, better than many gas SUVs. Clean Diesels today are cleaner than Gas trucks which guys are will to pay 10K more for because of this engines ability. These trucks haul your stuff, your garbage and help build your house. It's all hypocrisy Wake Up.
All rhetorics on stopping the energy companies but no mention of feasible solutions to reverse humanity's energy-dependent survival. Look at Europe with the Ukraine-Russia war going on, they can't even survive one winter without fossil fuel being burnt. And, if land are all used to run wind and solar farms, where the hell are the foods going to come from??!! Expecting 8 billions humans to reverse themselves into their "ancestral dark ages" days!?

Visited August 25, 2022. The glacier has melted to the point where you can barely see it from the falls. It is so sad that it is melting at a rate of almost an inch a day or 30 ft a year(Think I remembered that correctly). Trip was planned for 2020 but Covid interfered. So happy that we actually got to see it, finally.
If this was produced by China or Russia we would all condemn it as propaganda(which it is). See the resources this group uses in its protests? All products made from fossil fuels yet they say we must leave them in the ground. What hypocrites. Why are they not using materials not requiring fossil fuels to produce? How does this group communicate around the world? It uses products produced via fossil fuels(which if we leave in the ground we can no longer produce). Will it stop using these resources (to save the planet) or will they continue using these fossil fuel products? Again, what hypocrites. Notice this group does not have a single organisation in China, Russia, India, Most Middle East nations, most South American nations, Most Asian nations and most African nations. Why you may ask and the answer is clear. They are Neo-Marxists intent on destroying capitalism just as socialists have tried for the last 50-60 years with limited success. The clue is in the video itself. They do not ask how do we save the planet from climate change/Global warming. Instead they ask how do we build a world that is just environmentally, economically and socially? Just ask who suffers the most from renewable energy? The poor who cannot afford the price of electric vehicles etc(that require you to drive 120.000klms before they save 1 unit of carbon as the carbon released manufacturing them is HUGE). But they will never tell you that. WHY? Because it destroys their save the world narrative that's why! Did they ask or explain why since renewable energy was mooted as the saviour of the world emissions have actually risen at a rapid rate? Of course not as they would have to emit those dastardly fossil fuels are being used more and more to make the solar panels and wind turbines you see all around the world all manufactured in China using mainly fossil fuels to provide energy to the factories that build them and pump ever increasing emissions into the atmosphere. And these people are promoting renewables as the solution???? It's like saying place your head in a gas oven, turn it up full bore and then set a match inside to save yourself from gas poisoning. THEY are the problem. THEY create the increased emissions. THEY are the ones destroying the planet yet never stop to think about their actions. Total Hypocrites.

Find internal peace and True relationship with Reality Himself, while you still can. This earth and all of man's systems are dying. This is what is really going on.
