The first campsite you came to, we've camped there twice, also the area you stopped at at 5:15, if you go left there is a nice spot there. Ok. No more secret spots 😂 We just got back last night from doing a three day stay in the Cohuttas
@@oldsouthautodetail9327 yeah I know the one, gotta cross the creek to get there. it’s a good size too. Haha, don’t let all your secrets out. I love the Cohutta, we were just there on Labor Day with a big group (video on Friday) Even 3 days ain’t enough up there. That trail to the north at 5:15, I’ve still never explored it. Several others too
@1870offroad the one going north is closed off now. Last time I was up there, there was a tree across the road not far from the top. I didn't have my chainsaw so I had to do like a 35 point turn to get turned around. Just one site up top and not even a good one.
The area where Sheriff Buford pulls off and the trooper confronts him looks like it's actually a couple of hundred feet further down the road in front of a car wash at 7740 N Main St in Jonesboro judging by the roofline of not only the building directly in the background but the slopped roof on the one just off to the left.
@@1870offroad - Pretty darn close but you certainly did a wonderful job of highlighting many other places like the pond. I knew a lot was filmed in Jonesboro but until your video, didn't realize how many scenes were filmed in such close proximity.
Could the wander just be big wide tires getting caught up in the pavement rutts? I find that on my XJ it wanders like crazy when on pavement and the rutts that big rigs make in the pavement
@@explore_off_road it could be , I don’t remember if I said it in this video but this is the 1st Jeep I’ve ever owned. The Trucks and the Yukon I’ve owned before were all IFS. It may be the 12.5 wide 35s It may be the solid front axle just feels weird going over ruts in the pavement. Whatever it is it’s so slight that I actually forget it’s there after a little while
@@T3D_13 this is how I’m gonna do mine. An adapter from quadratec. It will get its own video probably next Friday (I’m still waiting on it to arrive) but since you asked you’ll know before everyone else www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec/daytime-running-lamp-adapter-wiring-harness-jeep-wrangler-jl
You left off two of the best sceens, In Helen Ga where Frog & Bandit came to a swelling stop Bandit ask Frog, Are you ready Frog, She Responds I was Born Ready. That building is still there, it looks Real Rough but you can tell. Where Birt drove the TA off the Road and into the Chattahoochee River (real Small stage) and in just a few seconds was back in Jonesboro. Ha! Ha! This was a Great film about the Georgia Documentary.
@@travelingrvrv4608 thanks for the watch and for commenting. Check out the channel, this video was only scenes from Jonesboro area. I made another one earlier this year covering the scene you just mentioned. For some reason RU-vid didn’t push that one like the did this one. Look for the thumbnail of the TA driving through the Chattahoochee , that’s the one you’re looking for 😉
@@tinahaynes2035 I was not there, we had softball 🥎 practice Saturday. Came up for another Cohutta ride Sunday with Wicked Jeeps. You could’ve seen me on 515 headed home though 😂
Good job showing how many scenes were filmed close together. I always noticed the Decent County Arkansas police roadblock scene has a sign in the background that says Clayton County homes. When you do the next one in 2025, could you add the nearest street address for the places you visit at three bottom of the screen?
@@Huckleberry54 thanks, it is one of the things Im considering. Ive come across that somewhere also about the 2018s steering box. It’s hard to say because this is the only jeep I’ve ever driven. My reference points are a Silverado and a Yukon. That being said, when I upgraded to the MetalCloak steering, it feels even better than when I first bought it
Mine was killing me today. I beat the pickle fork with a 15lb sledge/maul, heated the pitman like crazy, used PB blaster, went to town with an air hammer with a pickle fork attachment. No dice, it has defeated me thus far. 🤬
@@vdub5818 the puller I had wouldn’t fit. Afterwards found out they make better ones. I wish I’d known before wasting half a day beating this one But dont worry, I put these videos on the internet and everyone commented how many other ways there were to do this 😂
By memory I just tightened down until the holes aligned and put in a cotter key, same as an old truck. But this was last summer, don’t remember for sure. I’d check a Haynes manual if you’re looking for torque values
@@bobgan4434 nice, I’ve got a 93 150 straight 6. This video is a clip from a car show with my Jeep. Not my truck, but I would love a 50s or 60s f100.. and I’m a Chevy guy!!
I only have been stung by a yellow jacket once throughout my entire life it got inside of my room from the outside. I was laying in bed and then that’s when it got me. Where it stung me was so painful that I rushed to the bathtub crying. The next day I was alright and I never want to experience that pain ever again.
It gets everyone different, I used to pass out from 1 yellow jacket. When this happened, I swelled up a little then hiked a trail. They don’t seem to affect me like they used to 🤷♂️
@@armani9861 water is good for hydration but not for sports team names. Every softball team was give a college team name. None of the teams wanted to wear a rivals jersey (we got crimson tide). Since our uniform only says tide with maroon colors (no other reference to Bama) the team wanted to be called Dr Pepper tide. Now we are the Dr Pepper Tide, no crimson
Why did they tear these buildings down for no reason? They would've made a fortune in tourism from preserving these iconic buildings. It's not as though Georgia has many tourist attractions. Insanity.
@@Explore4lo if you have the Georgia traverse saved then you already have it, the loop on the left side of the Ga traverse is the Big frog loop. If you don’t have any maps, google Vman1313 Google Docs page. He has numerous routes you can download as a GPX file for Gaia or OnX No cell service up there so be sure to download the maps for offline use
Looking west towards Chattanooga is the Cumberland Plateau. Looks like a mountain but it's not. Some geologist call it the Cumberland Escarpment. I love this place and am going back this fall God willing. Thanks for the video.
@@jeffmorris739 thanks for the comment that really helped. I had looked at that plateau earlier that morning on a map. Then up there while filming I’m trying to remember the name and couldn’t pull it up on the IPad. I saw Sequatchie on the map and was trying to say that. But I was wrong the Sequatchie is farther over than what I was filming. Thanks for the tip I Hadn’t seen Cumberland plateau. That little piece of info has helped me find what I was looking for. Now I can go research this and have a better understanding next time im up there.
@@1870offroadEven tho I've read every word, I had to look up the address again to see what verse(s). I'm sure you're busy, so please don't feel the need to respond to this. I just want you to know I'm praying your channel explodes, you remain humble, and continue to spread His Word. God bless.
I've watched numerous Overlanders on RU-vid and follow some. Some talk about hundreds of millions of years to create the beauty around them. I loved hearing someone talking about the beauty of God's creation. Earned a sub from me. The video was fun to watch. Mainly due to your joyful personality, but also for the views. God bless you and prayers for a successful venture into growing your RU-vid channel.
