Luckily I bought it when they first came out, Angling Direct had some in Guildford, to be fair there was only three on the shelf, I wish I’d bought them all, I could have sold them for a premium! I’m terrified of loosing my one, knowing my luck it’ll end up in a tree!
Hi Ben, I've just poured some left over, Sweet & Sour sauce from my Chinese takeaway (about 100 ml) into a bottle to use as a Method Glaze. I will try it on my next match a week on Sunday. (18th - Swanland)
If you put the chair in the middle and didn’t have the bed up, there would probably be just about enough head height, I tend to sit on my bed. Im typing this sat outside the tent on my chair eating strawberries and having a cup of tea!
@@benbamboozle Haha sounds ideal. Cheers for the reply. Basically I'm looking to go to Scotland this summer, so I was hoping to hide from the midges inside the tent. The only problem is, I struggle to sit on or close to the floor. SO looking for something easy to put up for one person, that is fairly compact, and can fit a small camping chair in. Thanks again
Good afternoon Ben, when I do "Light Rock Fishing" abroad (Sea) I mash a tin of Sardines into my bread paste for the Hook. (In tomato sauce is good for a bit of colour) I've never tried this over here, as nearly ALL of my Lake venues are "No Bread Allowed" - but I can see this doing well, where it is !! Maybe give it a go in the Bread & Corn Video you're planning ?? You hardly need any water in the mix. (A trick I learned from the Spanish Locals & it catches well)
Literally never wet my pellets that way, waste far too much acctractant, add 1-3 parts water to pellets works good, the choloate orange pellets work best on local waters here
@@benbamboozle Hi Ben, as you've already done the Banoffee vid' I've suggested maybe a Hazelnut type syrup instead (edited my last post !) If It's good enough for say "Starbucks" ......
Hi Ben, there are various Banoffee syrups available from supermarkets - + you get more for a fraction of the price. (for the benefit of us poor old pensioners lol) 👨🦽 Also - chuck that flavoured water in down the edge, like "Westy" does !!
Tried the stickymethod krill the other day and it killed my peg - Completely dead for 3 hours. As soon as I went back to pro feed 2mm they started feeding again. Was really strange. I really like the look of the bannofee wafters very bright. Currently get best fish with mainline cell wafters - big F1s go mad for them
Never tried banoffee flavoured baits , my favourites are cell 8 mm pellets by mainline , good old sweetcorn and robin red pellets, shame you didn’t land that tench 🤦♂️. The carp in my club water also tear off at high speed into the lillypads you have to be really quick lol
Since this video, I’ve put it up and taken it down at least 20 times, it’s absolutely fantastic. I’m using it for work so staying over nearby where I’m working and having to pack up each day and it’s no trouble at all. It’s also perfect size Vango really have done a good job with this one.
I've broken 1 or 2 tips in the past, & repaired them good as new with whipping thread, but do it later at home, whilst it's still hanging in one piece (the splinters then match back up perfectly. Yes, I'm a Tight Yorkshireman!!
Sonubaits do a fibre paste wich is designed for rod use and it stays on the hook (strike through the paste) where as the one to one paste is designed for pole fishing. Also id suggest using a size 10 hook (if rules allow) and use bigger bits of paste also let the paste set your float dont put shot on that way when your paste comes off the float will lay flat on the surface. Great review pal, good bait that is. Quick tip , use large round tub/bucket for your groundbait and add little water mix then add again. Remember you can always add more but you can’t take it out 🎉❤
Try the "Pre drilled" 8 or 12 mm Robin Reds, you get loads in a 900 gram bag, & you won't get pestered by too many Bream !! I pull the haired band into the hole for better presentation, rather than banding around it.
