Excellent build of a classic vehicle. Losing the decals on the rear sides, can be where the new owner has painted over the previous owners company name. Like you, what is the point of adding parts to something that will never be seen. Keep them for the spares box, never know when they might come in useful.
Thanks for the compliment! I painted a little too thick over that decal. My intention was to make it a bit more visible. Another reason to make this classic car (different manufacturer) again. :)
Glad to hear you like the video. And yes for an aircraft carrier aircraft it is absurd. (heard that before ;) But I had a lot of fun making it that way.
You working is outstanding but as an ex military aircraft tech, I can tell you no respecting Crew Chief would ever let his baby get looking like that. War or no war. Just way way too far overkill on paint chipping. Bare metal at sea is a very big no no, it would be patched up pronto. All US Navy carrier decks were stained blue by October of 1941
Thank you! I don't get the sleek paint finish when I compare it to airbrush finishes. But this works for me too. I'm having a lot of fun. That's the most important part :)
yes so true i got into 3d printing about 2 years ago ive found so many buildings and so much stuff that would be awesome for when ever i get back into doing models and diaramas @@roelvandelden2322
Oh now I get it 😅 And by craft you mean the tank? It is a modelkit of the Sturmgeschuts III ausführung (version) B. Produced by Tamiya in 2011 in 1/35th scale. Does this answer your question? Some more information: www.scalemates.com/kits/tamiya-25143-sturmgeschuetz-iii-ausf-b--1379482
That's very kind of you. I don't do it for a larger audience per se, but because I really enjoy it. But it does motivate. Especially with nice comments ;)
Thank you very much. Yes, I don't have an airbrush and I love painting. So I don't think I'll buy one (and also the compressor noise and the air extraction)
He Rob, I also actually wanted the Fledermaus, but saw this kit at a fair for not much money. I'm very happy that I was able to find and make such an old kit. Next week (I hope) the painting video will be online.
