i have a very simple question: wtf is wrong with you? are you human? how tha hell did you do all that man? you are on a much different level, respect bro
Oh man, we were talking to you when you just started this project! It's a great work. It's a masterpiece. The details, the lighting, the music. Good job Andre! Thank you for showing us such a work of art!
Thanks so much! It was around 7 weeks or so. but obviously this being client work you have to incorporate their feedback etc. I think I could have done it in 5 (:
@@Dvorkin82 pretty much all from scratch. but I did use some models from online like the CNC robot arm and I also used some models to kitbash for the handbar bending and stuff. but most of the environments were build from scratch and textured (:
@@andretaylforth I'm beyond words, this is an incredible piece of work! It made me curious, was this all done by you or did you have a team? Could I also ask which DCC you used and render engine?
@@dariovh8678 thanks for the kind words! yes it was all done by myself including having a model a few parts for the bike that needed to done extra (: I did the entire project in blender, including modelling, texturing and animating! and I used cycles of course ;)
Having the most impactful lighting is definetely the most important. Sometimes this can take hours. Adding noise to the image in post production is great for making the image less sharp and more like camera footage. But for that nice little camera shake, shakify is the best to add some random rotations and bounce (:
Hello! You have a great job. I need to make a similar animation in blender for my thesis. Please tell me which video lessons you used to teach Davinci?
Thanks! I’m not sure exactly how I learned. But you might want to check out the ‘agx colour space for .exr files’ that will give you the basics of how to bring the best images over to davinci. Another tip would be to look at ‘dehancer’ it’s a great plugin for davinci that can help you better replicate real footage from a camera
Thanks! He of course is a big inspiration! But in this case we started with a much more lighthearted design, and only when we got to the texturing and world buidlibg did we make it much more cruel and dark (:
yeah its an interesting idea. I mean i totally see the mistakes in the film that make it look CG in places. but other people are more easily confused i guess. when i comes to humans though, that's a hard one to pull off
