Rotobrush SUCKS!!! I spent ages letting it track (and corrected as it went along), finished the clip & then went to freeze it & it started wandering off everywhere! Useless. I lost a day doing this when I could have done it manually in half the time. Dreadful.
I wonder what putting 2, 3, 4 of these in tandem would do for the volume. I also wonder if you could wrap something, clamp something, add weight to one or two of the horns to change the tone of each. I wonder if you left them all the same if they would cancel one another out. Or if you'd have to face in opposing directions, or if it would matter. I just know if you have 2 of the same speaker driver too close, it'll actually be quieter due to nulling. But I don't know how that would work here. For the price, it would be nice to buy 2 for 60 and have it be like this but x2. But I'm also driving a little chevy cruze so we will have to see if 1 even fits anywhere discrete let alone 2-3 😁

I ordered the “8 round magazine” off of EBay and mine only holds 7 if I put 8 in the magazine it won’t fit in my gun also it looked nothing like it did in the picture 🙁
I used your orientation for wiring but my tail light fuse (located under the inside switches) blows. Mine goes black, white, red, green. Any suggestions? I followed recommendations in one of the earlier comments.
Why complain about surplus, you should know when you buy it that it's gonna be used at least a few years, if not over 25 years. I like the character from use and I have a Hungarian hi power that's probably seen a few conflicts with hardly any bluing left and the checkered grips worn smooth that still works fine. I got my 81 from classic for $209 and was happy but looking back I should have bought at least 3 because I haven't seen many 81s lately and they're around $400 now

OEM Green - Red (AF) OEM Green/white - Black (AF) OEM Black/white - Yellow (AF) OEM Blue - Blue (AF) “AF is abbreviation for aftermarket switch” On my 2007 Tacoma, I wired exactly like you did on the second attempt but it didn’t work out for me. I went back and wired as you did in the first attempt but didn’t work too. So, the way how I wired as below and it worked for me, idk how but it worked even though I have the same switch as you had; however, I got the same you issue as you had that was the light turned off when fog lights are on instead of staying on, I assumed this aftermarket switch was internally wired backwards. Anyway, I don’t care, as long as I have fog lights lol. Pin this on top for whoever needs it and thank you for your time making the video.
I’m not sure if you have found the answer to your question. Yes you can remove the lanyard loop by purchasing an aftermarket mainspring housing or ordering one through Tisas/ SDS Imports on their respective websites
why wouldnt you just cut the wires and swap the oem bulb socked onto the new harness ? would take like 5 minutes all you need is some butt connectors, shrink tube, crimps and a lighter. then you would have a good seal in your head lights . now you risk condensation inside the lenses and a number of other water related issues
Yes, that should be the easier way to do it. The attachments to the floor are the same and the manual seat will have the handle on the front to move it forward and back. You will just have the connection from the floor under the seat hanging loose.
