Hi, I am new to your sight , i was incourage when i saw you , just received my new serger Brother ST4031HD yours look similar to mind but my manual says to thread the lower looper first. I tried to adjust my camera so that i could see how you threaded your machine but i couldn't; from what i heard you saying, threading your serger is similar to mine as well . I will be looking for more videos.
Heyy! I'm not sure if you've tried this but a needle threader can be helpful to use! They typically come in a basic sewing kit! I hope this helps love!

@@Thatgurlathy thank you honey! When I first started sewing my lines weren’t straight lol. I suggest keep practicing using scrap fabric, and patience and before you know it you’ll make the perfect straight lines🫶🏾

You saved me! I swear the instructions that came with this pattern have a typo on the zipper. They say to lay it face down on the outside of the fabric with the pull on the left, which puts the teeth on the wrong side 😅 I was like, that can't be correct... yours turned out great!

I use the same method to change the threads in my serger. I snip the old threads off in back of the machine then tie the new threads to the old and run the machine until the knots go through the loopers and then slowly run until the knots reach the needles. Stop, snip the knots and thread the needles and run the serger a little more to make sure all is good. Thanks for posting your hack. 😊
Attemping the top today, for this amazing woman im talking too. She doesnt know i can sew yet, and shes taking a trip to miami with her family. I hope she wears it there
