Currently an owner of a 03 V6. Built with a turbo and many other mods. GT comes with Cast piston heads, but Forged rods and crank. Handling plenty of boost as of now. Love my Tiburon.
I've got a 2005 2.0l 16v hyundai coupe gen 3.5 facelift and it's a great car keep up with mantaince and they're great cars my car is an se with gls upgrades. so it's 143 bhp not 138 and has leather seats which I don't think the se came wurh. so this car has alot of stuff as standard. ac sunroof pas and so on. best car I've owned
This car was overlooked purely because Hyundai had no brand prestige back then and still had a reputation for being unreliable. The Elantra that this car was based on was seen as an cheaply made unreliable shitbox for people who couldn't afford a Corolla so a 2 door sports sedan built from the same platform was seen as a more expensive less practical version of that. It's too bad because when you actually drive one they're pretty nice.
I loved my Tiburon and miss it to this day but truthfully I don't think it was the best car. Had especially poor handling, drifted around way too many corners on accident in light rain and the winters were hell.
Great video. You're funny AF. Just bought my 2000 Pathy a few weeks ago. 3.3, low miles, leather, AC, Power, sun roof, heated seats, wheels well, pretty luxery actually. No leaks, not as fast OR fuel effecient as my OBS Powerstroke on 35,s but enough power. Again, I do hate the MPG, but it's a very nice a capable truck really. I put fresh oil in, trans fluid, timing belt and water pump with fresh coolant (a wise investment) and it does really well thus far. No oil loss, no coolant loss, shifts smooth, decent acceration, does great off road. Overall a sexy and comfortable truck that came with 4 new tires. And yes, it will be getting a three inch lift and 31's at least when the tires go bald which will be a long while, but I really can't complain about a nice truck for $4,500 cash out the door with 144k on it. And, while I dig 4Runners from all years (mostly), I think these look better and perform just as well. I'm a happy camper. No Toyota tax paid here. And yes, I've owned a few of them. A couple were great, and a couple were really not.
I have a similar car with a different front bumper, but it's even better. Mine has a 2.0 engine. It's an amazing car that still turns heads on the streets. Even today, it looks modern. Indistructable engine! That think don't know how to fail.
The driver's side windshield wiper arm was probably installed incorrectly. All you have to do is unmount the arm and remount rotating it upward slightly.
Aww, I am sorry to hear about your RAV4. I got so excited to just found you because I have myself a manual 2001 RAV4. Well, I enjoyed this mini series tho.
there’s also an option for 3 little gauges under the radio, has torque, fuel km/10L and voltage. But man I wish the voltage one was an oil gauge. Also heated seats were an option on the 2002-2006 years but it’s really rare.
I bought a 2014 Fiat 500 L trucker brand new. I had been shopping for maybe six months for a new car then saw this on the showroom floor. I took it for a spin and noticed it’s quirks immediately but still fell in love with it.I recently bought a new vehicle and gave my Fiat to my daughter. I sure miss that Fiat.
That big cupholder came with an adapter in it which made it normal size. When you got an oversized drink you put the adapter in the console. The reason they havent gotten that popular is because they are uni-body whereas the 4Runner was body on frame. I've owned several R50 Pathfinders and they are amazing, I'm currently building my "dream Pathfinder" which is a manual trans swap into an LE. But because of its uni-body design it will never be as good as my 100 series Land Cruiser off road.
I would love to do a review on one of those! They are quite the rarity now a days. I always thought they were unique. Hopefully some day I can find one.
Hey All Enjoyed your comments. Looking to put new AT tires on my 2002 pathfinder. Since the tire size is 255/65R16 the selection seems pretty limited. Any suggestions? Aaron
Have 5sp SE in Colorado. 180k and running like brand new rig. My 2nd one...last had 285k and sold it for 2k less than bought at after 8 years. Beast in snow off and on road. Lots of power. Only problem....stereo volume and cd changer crap out. Do not buy le with heater/ac compined with stereo. Bad idea!!
have you ever watched the movie Ants? There is the scene where the leaf falls on their path and suddenly they dont know how to follow the path and continue. Then the elderly ant comes over and goes something like this: "Don't panic. Just go arooound the leaf... There you go." Don't thank Fiat for your inability to read the manual before you do your review. When you turn off the ignition but leave the keys in you will have enough time to turn ON the wipers. They will move up a few degrees and stop in that position so you can lift both wipers if you need to.
Thanks for pointing that out. However, the joke was that it was easier to lift the one side and not the other, which is a bit odd even for a Fiat... I'll be sure to read the manual more in depth next time.
@@drivecore2021 Forgot to mention your review was otherwise really low in bias which is rare these days. You pointed out some good things and some bad things about the car and I couldn't agree more with you (besides the wiper thing). I have mine from brand new in 2016 and at the time you could get turbo 1.4 only with auto g/box. So I went for natural aspirated 1.4 but with manual shift. Regular oil and filter change and it works like new even today. Mine is EU model and it is Pop Star grade. It has many hidden features if you dont read the manual. I was surprised when I found out auto windows feature. When you leave your car and after you shut the doors you see you forgot to roll up all your windows, just press and hold the lock button on your remote and all the windows will start rolling up. No need to go back to the ignition switch. Also this works in opposite way. You approach your car on a very hot day and if you dont wan immediately to jump into the oven , you press and hold unlock key on your remote and all the windows will roll down. Noting new and shocking but to have this feature in this segment and in 2016 it was a pleasant surprise for me. Also City button on the dash for power steering is so good I wish all the cars have it. When you drive at speeds below 30kph (20mph) with that button on the steering is so light you can park your car with one finger. As you accelerate and if you forgot to turn off this feature (button) it will auto disengage and the steering goes into normal mode. Then when you slow down it will auto engage if the button was left on. So all I really miss on my car is turbo, but it will be much more reliable on a long run .
Hey man, just found your channel and I think your review style and the way you go into depth is excellent! Great video man, hoping to get one of these as my first car
My 2001 is proof some auto builders really do fantastic jobs! Nissan has never received credit do,but then again Toyota has never made #1 on WARDS LIST for 8 straight years as Nissan 2001- 2008 Pathfinder VQ35de bulletproof engine The ONLY SUV to reach this platform of Craftsmanship.Thank you Pathfinder for 23 years of near perfect service! #1 SUV in many World Markets!
Probably could've found a better Tibby to review but a lot of these are in much worse condition than that one. I've had my 2008 GT for almost 10 years now and have never once considered selling it. Most people just point and laugh never giving it a chance because its a Hyundai. Alright whatever go out and buy your Civic Si and blend in with the rest of the sheep.
i have had a few vehicles, one of them being an 01 celica gt stick shift. but my current car is the 2012 sonic hatch with the 1.8l 5 sp stick. i prefer the sonic.
I have a 2001 Pathfinder from Nissan and I wouldn't change it for nothing. The problem is that after 226,000 miles it still contains its original parts. Mechanics are amazed. It is perfect for me taking me from my home to New Jersey in all kinds of weather during the night. I love, love my car; I say truck. I got many tickets because that truck moves expecially on the highway. I was warned.
Great review. These were a forgotten treasure IMO. It looks better than its competitors and was offered in a 6 speed manual V6 that sounded amazing. Cant say the same for the integra and celica.
I’ve got the V6 with a 4 speed and a fox quad tip catback exhaust and in tiptronic she’s goes hard. second gear sounds and feels so good around the windy roads
Sadly... I sold it about a year ago to help fund another project. Although it was a great vehicle (probably one of the best I've ever owned in terms of reliability), I barely used it. It just sat most of the time. Maybe I will get another one in the future.
Wow great new video! That's definitely a forgotten one. Everytime i think of your channel I think of the Celica video, another forgotten 💎 I'm glad this new one popped up on my feed I might not have noticed you uploaded a new one!
I have a generation 7 like in the video, it has 117,000 miles and runs great. It has never used oil, I just put new tires on it so I'm ready to run more miles on it. Also its black and shines and still turns heads.
