My channel is about lawn mower's modified, racing gokarts, some video games, tips and tricks, and thing around the house, I can build what I imagine and what you imagine and more,
Should hear mine! Screech and clunk, sometimes powerful enough to stop engine at idle with the starter motor engaging. Pleasant surprise after a total engine rebuild lol
Man, my starter is just spinning freely. Weird because when I pull the clutch (its adjusted with no play) while in gear it doesn't wanna get in neutral. Not sure what's goin on...
@@thesleep6408 the starter clutch doesn't adjust. I think you might be thinking of wrong one. It's on the left cover. And if it spins freely it's undoubtedly shot
@@LifeofAedan it's the 52 tooth gear. I just figured out what was going on with it. I guess I wasn't real clear on what I meant. I had to adjust my clutch not the starter clutch. Now I'm gonna pull the gear off and replace it and the starter clutch too.
My 2003 660 raptor had a bad sollinoid and I got a new one and put it on today and it fired right up then while fighting the starter engaged out of no where and I turned the key off and it still kept turning over. Can you please help me out it also fried the sollinoid
I'm having this problem right now I know this was 2 years ago but how did you fix it? Mine i engaged the starter and it stays engaged. Thxs for any help
Man...THANK U SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS! My big red honda 700 is doing this and my stater is perfect just not rolling engine over ...use to be hard to start like that grinding sound ..now does nothing..U R AWESOME
well I have a 06 700 Raptor and the piece of shit starts and then just ups and dies when it wants to and cranks over slow i m buying a brand new 700R Raptor so far Yamaha has bin junk this new Raptor will be the test but not holding my breath. I'm going to be burning my current 06 700R to the ground for all the fusteration it had caused me we have a burn pit and I I figure two Jerry cans of gas dumped on it while sitting on a old square bale should do the trick on buring it to the ground. Fuck it iv had people tell o you can't burn it and I sat o really I bet I can then they say I'll give you $200.00 for it o woopty shity $200.00 nope I'll get more satisfaction watching that money pit burn and when it burns to the ground I'm then going to yank it to the shop and grab the torch and cut what didn't burn to pieces
You can still ride it however it needs to be replaced ASAP. If you disregard the starter clutch it can grind the gear and you can end up with metal shavings inside the transmission which is not good and very costly. The starter clutch is a sure easy fix and relatively cheap costs around 125$ for the whole assembly.
