Stabilize and make sure the fabric is hooped well. Ensure the top and bottom threads are of the same weight. I love using a 40/2 white thread polyester in the bottom. Always works well!
Anyone notice that when she threaded the needle with the green thread that she missed the second thread guide loop and went directly to the needle from the first guide loop. I wonder if that worked for her? I have the b79 YA YA Han edition and always thread thru both guide loops, even tho the quick start guide book shows it differently depending on which picture you look at. One picture shows step 7 & 8 , both guides threaded but then the next picture shows just guide loop 1 threaded and doesn't show guide loop 2, very misleading to me. I guess it will work either way you thread it?? It is just a guide loop.
@@classicquiltsdxb981 eventually when it’s in the budget I’m sure I will! I don’t do it enough to need one right now but I’m sure it makes a huge difference!
Good Morning, nice video. I am trying to digitize a logo. When I do the A it fills the whole A, how can I only fill the A without filling the triangle?

Hi I love your video. I have the designer plus version 8 I tried to install it on my WINDOWS 10 desktop. Would not install I tried so many times. Could you please tell me how to install it. Also if I get version 9 that won’t work on windows 11 Will version 9 work on windows 10? How do I get an upgrade if I can’t install it version 8 on my windows 10 computer ? Thank you!
I know version 9 definitely Works on newer windows! You can buy an upgrade for version 9 from your nearest BERNINA store ☺️ if you’ve more isssues…. Let me know. Also you SHOULD be able to use 8 on windows 10, I think. Let me check with BERNINA on that one
@@classicquiltsdxb981 thanks for writing back. What version windows are you running on your computer? I have BERNINA designer plus v8 if I can get it installed on my computer which currently has windows 10 am I correct in assuming that I should NOT UPDATE my computer to windows 11 because designer plus version 8 will NOT WORK ON WINDOWS 11 ONLY VERSION 9 works right? Idk you tell me! Thanks again. All this so I can “EMBROIDER ANY FONT” after watching your col video!
Thank you for your video. I was looking for something used to make with fabric that was donated to me. I’ll look in the comments for how to make the handle adjustable and what the tab is for. Perhaps a video explaining the adjustable handle would help others as well.
