No wonder you got 16,000 dislikes..... I checked Samsung fridges videos and all of them are pretty much useless because they don't show you how to do it.....
thanks for the info but I've been having to replace them every 1.5 years and the latest one lasted 6 months have you experienced this? know the cause of premature failure?
The Smart ForTwo ED 451 has a major design problem. When the 12v battery goes bad after 4-6 years (REPLACE IT BEFORE IT GOES BAD), the HV Battery may eventually fail to keep the 12v battery charged, the HV Battery may then discharge to an unacceptable low level, the BMS may then write and store a permanent non resettable Fault Code P18051C. and the BMS DC-DC Inverter may cause the HV Battery Current Sensor to fail. HV-WORKSHOP is the dashboard error display. Mercedes will not repair the HV Battery. Several of us have learned to remove the HV Battery, recharge the HV Battery, reprogram the BMS, replace the Current Sensor, and get the car working again. BMS reprogramming costs about $650. Replacement Current Sensors cost about $650. Finding someone nearby to perform the task requires searching through several Smart Car internet forums.
Same i just did it like 5 minutes ago on PS5. I didn't expect it to work but it really did. Now the only trophy that is going to be a pain in the ass is that sell 1000 cars trophy.
I had one just like that when I was little. Got it Christmas 1959. It was a used one that my dad repainted. Don't recall there ever being a seat cushion. Played with it until I outgrew it, then it was passed on to my sister's kids.
uh... So... uh... are you going to say how you got the refrigerator higher than the cabinet to level the heavy refrigerator... uh... never mind... I'll figure it out..
Don’t forget to replace the bushing too. It’s a little tricky but saves you from burning up new starters in the future. There’s some videos about it right here on RU-vid but it’s important
I now treasure the days when as a youngster helping my oldman working on our cars in the driveway..I learned so much but being young i really dreaded it back then..Guess what i learned back then doesn't help much with newer cars these days but in some cases it does..Brakes and starters and minor repairs but the older cars are a snap and i consider them pretty easy compared to the electronics in the new stuff..Just being there with dad is what i miss the most..One really important thing with my dad was hold the damn light still JR.. lol...but it worked
Does not work. I tried this and it didn't work. Are you supposed to sit here for an entire hour and then cross? Would be great if we got a little explanation on what exactly to do. I have never been into racing games and games that have racing and a trophy tied to racing. If I can avoid racing altogether, I will. This game doesn't allow you to avoid it as it is a trophy. Can you tell me what exactly I need to do?
Great video. My experience was as follows: It took me forever (like a day) to get the top bolt off. It was very difficult to get the socket on the bolt because I could neither see what I was doing or feel the bolt due to the hidden location. (1997 Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.3 L) Also no swing room for the wrench and it was too crammed in there to get leverage on the wrench. I ended up using a pipe to get some extra torque, unfortunately I did not have anything less than 4' long which added to my woes! I worked the top one from the top of the engine rather than the bottom, although I tried both ways. I removed the air cleaner box, a hose in the way, and another part I can't identify which was in the way, all from the top. I wish I had looked at the picture at 3:36 more, which is from the bottom; that might have helped. My old starter did not have the ring like this one, and I did not have any trouble with the new one without it. I was prepared to glue the thing on in a place or two to hold it in place like some other video suggested, but I didn't need to. All the videos like this on RU-vid would be helped if the narrator was clear whether we are looking from the top or the bottom. Also one thing that might not be clear is that the bolts go through the starter "backwards," in other words the threads are in the starter, and the frame that holds the starter has just holes. This is the opposite of most things on an engine. Due to that I had a lot of trouble just finding the starter! Good luck out there!
Be careful with Monroe quick struts. Four bearings fell out of the upper mount with a piece of plastic hanging on the back before I could get them on the car. Part number 181580.
Doesn't work. I went around the track then set my system time to 2 hours ahead and when I got back to the game the clock was still going. I rolled across the finish line and the timer reset. Granted, I'm on the PS5 playing this game. Maybe it only works on the PS4. I don't know. All I know, is it didn't work. Oh well. I guess I won't be getting the platinum. I HATE racing in every way possible.
I have a 2016 Electric and it’s the fastest car other than a Tesla. No problem on merging into highway or passing. It will blow your head back. Obviously this guy doesn’t ride motorcycles like I have all my life. This is a great alternative to a bike as I’m now 66. 21:20
Looking to do this, but wondering how you reset the timer etc. I read that an OBD 2 device can do it, but I've also heard that not all units can. What did you use?
@@GaryOGarysGarage inside the interface, there is a timer that allows you to determine the schedule for when the car charges. You set it in the MORE menu item, then turn it on or off in the gauge display when the key is still in as you turn the car off. Before, I set this to charge by the schedule and only charge immediately when I actively change the setting. Now, I have to set this each time I turn the car off. You can tell it's working because the dash alternately blinks the far left and right lights, as opposed to when it's charging, which brings them on in sequence up to the current charge state.
Looked at a different way, both AAA and the dealer told me that after the battery is replaced, there is something that needs to be reset. Fiat was going to charge me $120 for this service, and AAA couldn't do it.
@@EliotHochberg not sure. Typically if you put a new battery in with any car it will reset any obd 2 codes. For example my check engine light came on on my Caravan because the thermostat got stuck open. I went to AutoZone to read the code but they wouldn't reset the code after I replaced the thermostat. So I just disconnected the battery.
@@GaryOGarysGarage but the battery was already disconnected, and both AAA and the dealer said they needed to reset it. Was kind of hoping you had more info than that, but I appreciate your response.
