Hi Brendan, the Dacia Jogger has been approved by the NTA for taxi use. Looking at the NTA website, it would appear that the suitable vehicle list has not been updated online since December 2021, and the list is therefore out of date. However this does not affect the status of the car. In July 2022, the National Transport Authority confirmed to Dacia Ireland the following: "The Dacia Jogger 7-seater was inspected by the NTA and was found to meet licensing criteria for Taxi and Hackney and can be licensed to carry x 4 passengers."
Have got recent email from nta that this car is suitable as a taxi .but can only be licenced for 4 people .im a taxi driver in Dublin .i will be buying one soon ,and probably get the hybrid version .
