It's really odd & interesting travelling somewhere new on your own. I get what your saying about having someone to share the experience with. I love going somewhere new & just go with the flow & see where it takes you. When I was in Sheffield recently, some of the conversations I had with the locals was fascinating, about how the local accent has over time become much more diluted with younger generations & the Americanisation especially with TV & internet. Anyway glad you did it, you have been talking about doing this for years, Rome next?
It was good to hear all about your trip. Glad you had a wonderful time. I've travelled a bit, but would love to travel more. One thing I've learnt (old man HopZine wisdom) is to appreciate what you have and not lament what you don't have.
I stay in 17eme when i visit Pier, the rougher parts are less expensive for a bevy but the foods still really good especially the mussels, liking the hair it suits you👍
I had the saturated in strata & the Nelson, but I've not had a beer from them in a long time. As far as brewery merch, beak are the best, good designs & in proper sizes.
A lot of black, dark chocolate, licorice, burnt bread crust, pumpernickel. Smooth, with a hint of plum and light smoke. Medium bitterness. A lot of black, dark chocolate, licorice, burnt bread crust, pumpernickel. Smooth, with a low liqueur alcohol feel. Medium bitterness. Just a nice well-balanced imperial Baltic porter. Cheers! Na zdrowie!
Dark brown in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Aroma of coffee, marzipan, chocolate, some roast. Taste really does have a decent tiramisu flavour although it makes me wish I had the real thing more than anything. Not that sweet. Coffee and cocoa flavours. A bit thin. Where was the tiramisu? Ah... flavourings!
