Dale I got a '99 f350 and never had a problem turning it on. What caused your ignition proble. And congrats on your 1st snap on tool, lol. Enjoying your videos, thanks.
Well the 7.3 PowerStroke is a champ but the auto transmission is not. I think that the linkage is out of adjustment. Thank you for watching and commenting
Congratulations on your new 5 drawer cart. You won't be sorry for the purchase. The new series 3 will take the mods from this video. Thank you for watching
I always like a good backstory. There is none here. Apples to apples? No. Compare specs, side by side. Then the story is told. The whole story. I want rockwell hardness numbers too.
The torque test channel, the sort of go to channel for this type of test, did a video as well. Their test did show Snap-On slightly leveraging icon. The difference in performance however was nowhere near compared to the difference in price.
@DaleLucid I guess I don't see what all the stress and hellraising is about. I buy what I like or can afford based on my income and wants. I see it goes much deeper in the whole"tool debate" realm. Lots of jealousy out there. A bit of arrogance as well. Humans at play I guess.. oh well
Optional method to move your side handle to the front: Bolt the side handle to the magnet bar. Voila! Super strong, large size, magnetic front handle, with ability to relocate to any metal surface, front, side, or otherwise. You're welcome.
I think that I actually tried this. The magnet strength wasn't enough to hold on to the loaded up cart. There was also an issue with the metal on the front deflecting. I imagine that would really become an issue after a while. Thank you for watching and thanks very much for leaving your comment.
The battery pack is made up of banks of cells wired in combination of parallel and series to achieve 18v. The death flash is an indication that the pack failed to pass a pre charge test. It probably failed because one or 2 of the rechargeable cells is defective. There are many videos demonstrating how to test and replace the cells. The long and short of it is that it's just not worth the resources it takes to fix it. Sorry for the bad news
…. Hope this a joke and people realize you want your tool to snap clean like that not bend the icon gave space and slipped the snap on was the wrong tool for the job and broke BIG difference.
@@KayeThanx relize dis de intaweb n u understand however I word, honestly I just like the bare minimum and never have appreciated the expensiveness of the English language I can write and speak in a advanced manner but where’s the chill or laid back in that ya know like I don’t always want to sound perfect like I have a. Stick up my ass or my seconds could be spent in something more purposeful but take a hit and mellow out my guy don’t have a stroke because some of us don’t follow what school imposed on us as “necessary”
@@KayeThanx also I struggle with a lot of mental illness and think and speak differently than most people and I can’t help that sometimes I get really excited about what I’m talking about and talk so fast that typing stuff out trips me up sometimes and I’ve never liked talking online for this reason but I do have wisdom none the less
The evolution of that video by royaltyautoservice was that ICON beat Snap-On at Snap-On's own test. But the Snap-On fan boys came at him so he confirmed to escalate the attempts to get ICON to fail against the Snap-On counterpart. The final result is that white Snap-On may eventually prove to be the superior wrench the cost difference cannot be justified by the difference in performance.
