OMG Sheryl! I hear you girl loud and clear. I have the same issues at airports and also at hotels. Accessible rooms are built for people in wheelchairs. I understand that, but the accommodations don’t work for people like us. Hope your week is better!
23 year old with POTS syndrome here! Travel days can be exhausting. My last trip was MCO to ILM. My boyfriend and I had to run from TSA to our gate and I almost fainted 🫣. Not ideal when you’re about to be on a plane!!
For the same reason your short replays... the clicks. We do like to watch Oprah fall over and over again though because we don't like her any more so play that one.
I really like this construct. I love that it acknowledges all the love that you’ve given and been given over time without downgrading it. For me, as seasons have changed or I’ve evolved, I still want to honor those old friendships. Interestingly, I’m now having “other season” relationships with siblings and family members now which is really rich and fun. Thank you for your thoughtful construct, my friend! 🎉
Sometimes, im afraid to help because some people are offended by my asking them if they need help. As a healthcare worker and just as a person, I like helping, and i frequently have to talk myself out of helping someone disabled to again not offend.
I learned when I had my dad with me that I had to completely slow down and be at his pace and not lose my patience. It really was a life lesson. He fell a couple of times when I was with him and of course he was apologetic, just like you said..while I was equally apologetic that he fell on my watch. You have nothing to apologize for!
