I think the designs are based on Naohiro Shintani's designs from the Broly movie. The darker SSB hair I think indicates that. Personally I love the designs just for that reason, Broly is the best DB look in the last 10 years so I'm cool with this game following suit W for the Tenkaichi 2 Intro music too lol
Dbs is absolutely a garbage, i don't care either it's in the manga or anime, im not talking about the whole story but based on power scale it's already stupid, ultra instinct is something so powerful that even the god of destruction struggle to mastered it at all and here comes frieza clowns the UI, it's like what is this bullshit, are we gonna see ultra instinct super saiyan next with a chocolate hair or maybe a rainbow hair, and many dbs fans will said omg it's so cool and started talking like it's the best thing out there
Compared to Z, every arch in Super is just straight garbage. It has no grit and every character has become an annoying version of himself/herself. Z archs had progression, intrigue, character development and had some strong themes, Super has nothing apart of constant power up, palette swap and ass-pull transformations. IQ disintegrating sh*t all over
I think that Orange piccolo and Beast Gohan are way too strong. Let's put it this way: they would *smoke* every single villain in dbs up until the granolah arc. Its absolutely ridiculous considering how much Goku and Vegeta trained (half a year with whis in ROF, three years in the time chamber for universe 6 arc and more...) In order for them to get where they are now.
That transformation was shameful, completely reliant on nostalgia and overused trope of piccolo getting wrecked and gohan getting mad, and then piccolo being fine, the man got two transformations in one movie and it didn’t even matter.
Being Fanboy is even worse because no matter how much you tried to convince them and argue with them that Dbs is trash, they will never listen and give bunch of pathetic excuses for everything you
