Over time, there is always room to improve a camera’s performance as OM did with the OM-1 and the Mark 2. I expected in a couple of years there will be a mark 3 and then a mark 4! The question really is at what price do you get the improvements and are they worth it? For me the original OM-1 is close enough to perfection that I am not interested in paying twice as much to buy the next upgrade for some rather marginal improvements as wonderful as they might be! Then the question is, what will they charge for the next models?
Can you please confirm both screens show live display simultaneously *while recording video* at 4k120 (and if not, at 4k60)? This was a limitation on the action 4 and I cannot find if this was fixed.
Just got my a9iii and love it. Totally agree use only Sony lenses and CF express cards or be prepared to pay for a theoretic capability that you can't fully use. I bought a grip and a new 320 Gb CF Express card to go with my all Sony lens array and the results are superb. I still use my a7iv and FX3 for some subjects too. But the a9iii is just another level of excellent if you want fast action images. Now I need to get a relatively light 300mm f2.8. I plan to try with a 1.4TC and a new 2xTC to see how it compares with my 200-600mm G lens. I'm suspecting that a 300 f2.8 will make my 200-600mm only a very occasional used optic, which will probably then get sold. But I plan to try side by side to be certain. Currently my 200-600 only goes out if I'm specifically looking at shooting sports, action or wildlife. It's too big for 'just in case' packing.
Owned this lens and stored in the dry-cabinet for many years. On a recent overseas trip, i brought this lens along with me. Everything is perfect, except, 1st, the cap started to fall off from the lens easily. 2) A painful selection for waterfalls. It's not ND filter friendly.
I bought my Nikon D810 in July 2014 when it first came out. I have used it continuously ever since and as yet, I have no reason nor desire to trade it for anything else. It just keeps on churning out gorgeous images year after year. That's all I need!
I just upgraded to one of these and the quality is blowing my mind. coupled with the top tier pro Oly/om lenses I think its the best system on the market.
Is it normal that if you want to take photos with a flash in the evening, you can't see anything in the viewfinder because the orange lamp is blinding?
Hello and thanks for your video. I recenty purchased a DX9 and now i'm testing it.Something that's very anoying is the very sturdy hard to turn exposure compensation knob. Is it only me (i purchased a occasion (2de hand) or is it the same on every dx9? Tnaks for your advice!
Commenting from the future I have to say it is bizarre to not have included a USB-C port on the CL considering the TL2 has a USB 3.0 USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
