This is heartbreaking 😢. I have so many good memories growing up going there. I came from a big polish family. Many were in polka bands and I was a part of the polish ambassador dancers with many of my cousins. I'm sure your mom remembers Judy Stringhill...my aunt. Thanks for sharing!❤

If I ever hit the lottery I'd buy this land and rebuild the venue n bring back polka and other music to this place. I'll ask my Mom when I see her about Judy.
I tried that. The kids did not want to practice and didn't take it seriously. One guy just wanted to learn one song and that was it. The area I live in is bad when it comes to creativity.
I have the same taste in guitars as you: ended up with a DiPinto Mach IV. Bought it in 2003: it's a Mosrite style guitar with a humbucker in the bridge. I bought it because The Eyeliners (old female pop punk band) were playing it at a show and it sounded/looked amazing. Best 500 I ever spent, too. Still have it. My other choice would have been that Danelectro. Was always sus about Eastwood guitars, so what you say doesn't surprise me. Loving the Mosrite body type isn't like having a fetish for Les Pauls or Teles: there are few good options!
Hey, bro, just saw your vid with memories of Anti Flag...I saw them in Duluth in 1998, and did not have a pleasant experience either, despite being a fan of the songs I had heard of thiers by then, which wasn't much. I'd have more to say, but just wanted to agree with your feelings about them. Unfortunate, very unfortunate, considering they wanted to seem like they were from a community of very passionate aware individuals, but it was just show.
It always was. Many people questioned their motives and found they was just rich kids playing punk rock star. Justin is in a ton of trouble right now and more women came forward.

Seeing this video again randomly. Rickenbacker went to unfinished fretboards for about 6 months(this being one). They have since switched back to finished fretboards again. In that regard, this guitar would be quite unique.

I'm of Chickasaw descent. My 7th generation grandma had certain gifts and it must have skipped a few generations. I deal with stuff all the time. I got salt, sage, sweet grass, cedar and other things to keep me safe.

Yet they find it in his right hand and he's a lefty. He didn't die in the garage. He was killed in the house, carried to that garage and shit there. Again I see the big guy. The big guy I see is someone unknown to the public. He looks like a hit man and real cold. No feeling whatsoever. Allan is responsible for El Duce. He hit him over the head and put him on the tracks. Courtney is involved in some shady stuff. The way that whole machine runs is dirty. She is protected by higher ups and those same higher ups are responsible for other deaths. That was by demand. Lacquered fretboards are more difficult to slide your fingers across which is why you don’t see them on other guitars. It’s actually probably the #2 biggest complaint after the narrow necks.
@@Potatoskinman I took the plate off to get a look at the electronics, plus I heard some rattling around and there was tons of wood shavings and saw dust in it. Plus these painted red dots. I figured they'd do a better job of cleaning the cavity.
@@Potatoskinman they still lacquer(actually it’s a UV cured polyester) the fretboards on the vintage and C series model so that shoots that theory down.
@@Jeffcatbuckeye Yeah buddy I said "except on reissue models". They also as far as I know still lacquer the 660, some special edition guitars (like the new 4005) and some one off guitars.
