You bake those for 15 minutes? I've heard people say that 3 minutes for stuff that size is overkill, and makes the resin even more brittle than it already is.
Ok I'm going to chime in here. As a retired US Marine , the weathering job on this aircraft is not overdone for a land based aircraft in the Solomon Islands ,Aug 42 thru Nov 44. The aircraft depicted was a late war carrier based aircraft. Carrier based aircraft are not USUALLY is weathered or dirty. I have served in wartime conditions both on land and on carrier decks. Just my two cents.
I've been reading about planes such as this for over sixty years. These videos add a new and most interesting dimension to the design and engineering that you can never find from simply reading about them. Beautifully done, particularly the rigging.

Perfect work .🏅🏅🏅 May I ask you what kind of equipment do you use to make your videos? In addition I think it would be very good if you make a video for shooting techniques and equipment. Thank you .
Hey I wanted to ask, when you paint glass for headlights, taillights, blinkers etc., which side of the part do you paint? The innner that goes on the car, or the outer?

I know this video of building and detailing is a few years old. I was looking for what tools were used, I see the parts list of parts used / added to this model. I believe if a list of tools and who the mfg. is , where they may be acquired would be a help for someone wanting to do the same kind of detailing to their models. Thank you

*A very nice model, the Starfighter specially its training version is not really popular among modelers, even if this plane is important in the history of the fighters. A lot of products for a wonderful result!*
nice, instead of the pastels could you use just oil paints thinned with spirits / turpenoid or what is the benefit of the pastel powder / lighter fluid mix?
Amazing build. One day my skills will be this good. Maybe. What did you use to rescribe those panel lines? It looked like some kind of blade with a plastic orange handle?
