Ah one tip, If your bike gets realy hot, don’t turn it off, keep your fan on. once it a bit cooled by the fan. then turn it off. best is to turn off the bike once standing still for a red light or what ever.
Swing arm was from a later model I think 2015 these wheels are also bigger front and rear you can still keep your standard forks but need the later model wheel spacers hope ti's helps buddy
I’m impressed how you handled that massive step at 20:29, I think you only fell of as you weren’t planning for it to work so were surprised to be there. Happend to me many times doing something technical and falling off on the east bit after as I wasn’t expecting to get that far.
Hi i love the video i have a question however . Whats that metal tiny stick on the left of the chain sprocket when u open the cover... Mine is wobbly is that bad.. Im not a mechanic but i do my best to understand and id love someone who could explain this to me
@@KeepItWheel thank you i guesssd it had to do with the clutch however it keeps comming off if i push it .. Its a used bike im tryinb to restoreit thank you once again flr the lovely video
OEM Suzuki bearings come installed with the covered part facing OUT. Just replaced front and rear bearings on a TL1000R last night. New bearings (AllBalls brand) were sealed on both sides.
If you noticed the top of the range "koso" bearings we installed also had seals on both sides, yes, you are correct previous bearings were installed incorrectly but by the previous owner ! Thanks for your comments buddy ride safe 👍
Just a generic one from good old ebay type in front paddock stands and a number of the same type in the video will pop up you get a better deal buying front and rear but check it out thanks for the interest buddy
Stunner. My TLs is running Yoshi Cams, Yoshi full system, PC 5 with a flashed Ecu. Front end is EBC discs with Brembo pads and RGV250 N calipers. front brake is insane for bite! braided lines. Suspension is all Maxton, with adjusted rake. May be old but a proper weapon 🙂
Hello Mate thanks for the Video. Just wondering if your bike already had the Grab rail installed. I have the 2020 model and it does not come with the grab rails.
Hi yes grab rail already installed on the 2023 but SW MOTEC do a rack with top plate to fit yours for a reasonably £125 might b worth a shout when going for this system 👍hope this helps
Unfortunately the food and especially the coffee is very hit and miss at Squires, the girls they have serving and making the coffee are on a bit of a fast turnover and a lot of them haven't even made their own beds before starting there let alone made a cup of coffee. The regular visitors to Squires soon learn which girls to go to for a decent cuppa.
Thanks for the upload, very interesting piece of kit. Im looking to get an adventure bike and soft luggage may be an option for me. I look forward to seeing how it performs when you test it.
get more seat time and learn more off road specific technique - well done for trying lads , possibly brush your skills up on slightly easier lanes, these are not hard by any means so if you get more basics and hours in the saddle you will come back to these and laugh
Hello, Rider! Hope you're doing great! :D :) Love this clip! Would it be OK if we used it in a youtube video we're making and maybe share it on our social media? We'll credit you in the video and all descriptions. Thank you! :) Can you explain what happened?
@@KeepItWheel Hey! Your clip has been used in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fjw-G1T2P5s.html Thank you for allowing us to feature it!
Great stuff and well filmed. I have a similar course coming up this spring and wanted to get an idea of what I'm in for. What you did there got pretty technical and with all that rain was a huge challenge. You did extremely well and I hope I can do as good.
You guys enjoy the TET and all trails, why did you let your 250's go? I bought a new T7 for TET touring etc, to big, to heavy, now on a crf300 rally, its no enduro bike but it doesn't hold me back and i have no fear tipping into any trail, the best thing is it will sit at 70mph and im off to the Pyrenees in May. Pretty sure Steve used to keep his caravan on my storage site in Lambley? If it is you, how's it going 👍🏼 Chris
Great to here from you Chris and you right it is me lol 😂🤣 we got the AT for big mile tours and your right the 250"s are better suited to the trails snd you can tackle most if not all of them easily. We just wanted bikes that in theory can do it all and carry camping equipment etc.The AT defo way too heavy and a defo challenge but we wont give ip on them and keep pushing on lol.You still have the T7 ?
A up mate, thought it was you 😂 No mate I sold the T7 it wasn't a bad bike but it was very top heavy with a shit turning circle, AT is a much better bike all round in my opinion, just as capable off road and much better on road. I'm doing everything you guys are doing on the 300 rally, all be it a little slower, doing the ACT Pyrenees in May, should be fun. I'm always up in Derbyshire, maybe have a ride with you guys one day 🤙🏼
Good effort guys!! I’ve ridden some TET’s as well with my 1100 AT and laid her down plenty of times. She’s heavy! 😅 I did noticed you don’t disable all the 3 electronic interventions? Especially the Traction Control and Wheelie Control. During the last hill climb I saw the engine cutting the power a few times trying to intervene with the loss of traction or wheelie controle during the angle of attack during the climb. It does take some time to disable all 3, but it’s well worth it. Good luck on the adventures!! 👍
Serious green laning there boys!! ATs maybe a bit too tall and heavy - I have a 97 XR600r that might cope a bit better, nice to see you two back!! All the best!! 👍🏍🏍👍
Cheers, buddy . Defo planning to return to the exact trails this year, and my AT is now armed with better tyres, so hopefully, we will get those nailed and onto the next 👍
We made all the spacers and brackets ourselves buddy as we are lucky enough to own a lathe .please feel free to ask for any advice ,will help with whatever we can
@@KeepItWheel Appreciate the message mate, guess it's time to invest in a Lathe!!! Needed to get one anyway really. My CBR is coming along and these videos are great help :)
Fair play Gentlemen, they're some tough lanes on the big bikes.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 a quick question, where was that water crossing, we've not found that one yet.. 😂 Just subed, keep up the good work.👍🏻👍🏻 funny to hear someone else that also ends up blowing out of their arse too.. our normal intercom announcement is "who' blowing out their arse"? 😮💨😂😂
If your going down to Wales to do the Strata, check out Elen valley and Nant Y Moch whilst your down there. The later is a big bike play ground especially if wet.
