I have some question about which kind of typodont are you guys working with and would you please tell me about what exactly they expect of crown prep and class 2 prep and in general for preparation . thank you .

I’ve been watching your dental school vlogs because I am thinking about attending Howard next year for a masters program and I appreciate how you show life outside of school and actually show your social life, friends, etc. This may be a bit personal and I’m sorry if you’ve answered this already,but with your heavy load of school/homework, is there even time to work full time or even part time? I just want to know what I can expect from a grad school experience as far as how finances go, if that makes sense.
Hey! Thank you so much for watching! It definitely makes sense, as far as finances after my tuition and fees are paid then I receive the remainder of the student loan money for my expenses. Also I apply for scholarships through out the year that either go directly to my student loans or directly to me.

Hey Kayla, I wanted to know if you completed your transcript entry yourself, or did you pay for the professional transcript entry service? I will be applying this summer and I didn't know which option I should choose.
Hey! I entered in my transcript myself. I chose that option to make sure the classes I took were marked down as what I intended them to be since my undergrad degree was in med tech some of the classes were labeled med tech but it complied with some of the required sciences and upper level sciences. If you do happen to label them wrong or incorrectly when entering in yourself the application server will tag it and you can change it with no problem

@@KaylaIllescas Thank you! One last question, what study material did you use for DAT prep? I do understand individuals use different prep material based on their studying methods.
@@demetriousl.a525 I used Kaplan because it was incorporated with my grad school tuition & program but I also went thru majority of Chads videos & had the DAT Destroyer question set bundle. Highly recommend DAT Destroyer the questions were very very similar especially the math if not the same.

So you moved from Baltimore to Hampton and now to DC? I thought Hampton was grad school for the dental program. Or do you have to go further past grad school?
Yes, my masters degree from Hampton University is in Medical Science. Dental school is Professional school and I attend Howard University College of Dentistry where I am pursuing a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree!

Hey, awe thank you so much! The program director can put you in contact with other people that will be in the program and you can go from there. My roommate now actually reached out to me because she found my RU-vid and she found a place and toured then I came and toured and we applied online. I’m sure complexes have stepped up their virtual tours now and you should have no problem doing it from Texas. ☺️

Chloe Mballa I enjoy it! Its truly what you make it. During this first year we take prereq that you most like have already take in undergrad but it’s a good refresher. I’ve been able to volunteer, shadow, go to impressions days and study for the DAT. I’ve really been able to beef up my application. We work on personal statements and our 2nd year is when we take the higher level courses.
