This band reached the highest level of originality, progressiveness, musical craziness, stage weirdness. They are the real artists. You can tell the set is polished to perfection as well! Last show of a long tour. Great camera work, sound is amazing as well! It would be a treat to be there and experience it in person. Will they ever come to England? Europe? Big fan!!!

If SGM existed in the early 70s, a period where new sounds were appreciated, they would've become as big as King Crimson is today, at least. Sadly, the world doesn't care much anymore for music as an artform or experience. I saw SGM twice, for like 9 euros. I felt like I was ripping them off. I have seen Peter Gabriel, Yes, Dream Theater, Genesis, just big big acts live (also many many smaller acts), but the SGM shows are still amongst the most memorable ones I've ever seen. I just wonder what they could do with a budget like Rammsteins' or something.
i totally agree. i was a pretty big music nerd throughout my 20s-30s and i never heard of them until i happened to move to a tiny little town called Petrolia in northern ca where Danny the bassist lives. I do mean tiny. Just a post office, general store, community center, and public school. Only a few hundred people live there, and the closest bar is an hour away. It used to be a big cannabis growing area. Still is but it is quite a bit different from 12tyrs ago when i moved here. Now i actually am building/living in a tiny home on Danny's property and we are jam partners for the last decade. I didn't get to see sleepytime until this last tour and i saw the first show nearby Petrolia and the last show of the tour in Berkley. They sold out at a beautiful venue in front of 1500 people.....and they played phenomenally. Easily made it into my top 5 shows of all-time. That means they are as good as ....Kronos quartet, Neurosis, Junior Brown, Mogwai, Sigur ros, Dead Meadow, the entrance band, and Converge in my mind. Anyway, I wish that some big band would listen to them and ask them to go on tour. Such thoughtful, interesting, crafted, and fun music. they are in a league of their own.
@2m in... I'm thinking the sound quality is poor... by 17m I'm convinced it doesn't matter at all...this is the greatest recorded set I've ever seen by any band ever I need to book a flight to France next time they play there
