Mine will be arriving this week. Purchased from the acoustic shop. I have a 2003 American made Breedlove Cascade that I am afraid to leave out of the case in my NC home. I don't carry it with me when I travel the US for work because I am afraid the airlines will destroy it. Looking forward to having a nearly indestructible mandolin that I can have by my side in my camper my hotel or in my home.
Great vid, but... I have a fishman pick up on my J45 Studio and although I have had it serviced by a pro tech guy, the problem persists: When played at volume, the bass E and A strings are very loud, the top E, B, & G are barely audible. Looking at your vid I can now see how it works but when you put the saddle back there seemed to no way of keeping the pick-up strip in contact with the saddle on the top end. When you replaced the saddle the pick-up wire seemed to drop down into the guitar, or am I mistaken?
Thank you ! You help me with my old Epiphone EJ 200 . I bought used few weeks ago and I feel the small E string gosthy when I plug the guitar . With your tutorial , I realized with your capo test the gosthy sound disappears and , by the way that the angle of the saddle was too shallow . After a little fix done , it’s all ok ! Thanks again !
I've seen a few videos on these necks and they seem to sound great, with the added bonus of increased sustain, always a good thing on a Fender. I also like that they are available in a 12-inch radius, my personal preference. The price is getting just too steep though at $599, plus $70 if you want locking tuners. We are talking about being able to buy a brand new made in Mexico strat at that cost. I would say if they were still available at the original price of $499, or at least came with the locking tuners add no extra charge I would be ordering one for my Strat today.
You get what you pay for :) Our Carbon Fiber Necks are super light yet extremely strong and will last a lifetime! + Carbon Fiber has a higher price tag, with it being such a durable material. That being said, if you keep an eye out, we sometimes have sales, and also do discounts for ambassadors in exchange for quality content!

We dont have a 12 string with LR BAGSS created yet, but once we do, we can make a video for ya, and maybe even compare the different amplified tones/preamps and pickups.
Shooooot, I want one so bad so I can take it with me when I go out with my wildland firefighting module. I'm too afraid to take my wooden one. But I gotta save up cause 2500 ish bucks it priiicy. Gonna be worth it though I bet

Thank you for this video. I had replaced a broken bridge saddle on my Fender Acoustic and it was too tight and uneven resulting in a tinny treble sound and occasional loud bursts when strumming hard. I evened out the bottom of the saddle like you suggested and made it a bit thinner so it would "slide" into place and it now sounds much better. I am glad you took the time to teach how to install this properly.

Your demonstration was what made me place my order for the carbon timber nylon string version with the KK mini pure pickup. Am (impatiently) waiting for it to be built. Looking forward to being able to practice outside in South Florida while guarding my little duck flock as they free range. We are already in the 90s, feels like 107F. I couldn’t bring my wood guitars out into this heat and humidity.
