You had a bad couple of weeks. Getting sick is one thing and home repairs are aggravating but the word of a possible deployment is heartbreaking and emotionally frightening. So glad, for all of you, there is no deployment after all. You’ll be on that cruise before you know it and all will be well in the Dax family. #Daxstrong!

When I taught Kindergarten, I never made it through the year without 5th Disease doing its thing! Before the rash is visible, the child is already contagious, sharing with all their friends!! UGH!
I can imagine how much illness travels around during the school year. It’s tough! We saw much when the kids were in daycare. Hand Foot and Mouth was common when my kids were in daycare. Fifth Disease is sneaky since it’s usually unknown until the rash shows up. The rash came and went for about 10 days.
Fredericksburg is a fun place! We have been there many times. My husband's parents live in kerrville so we like to go there often to escape the cold, snowy Minnesota winters.
