Hi The hook was deep into the Kings throat as it was undersized its best to cut the line and leave the hook in as it will rust away and fall out. It gives the fish a better chance to live. Thanks for watching Tonsta
Enjoyed your clip as it brought back memories of my younger days fishing in the bay in similar weather. As long as there was a bit of a canopy or shelter on the boat the drizzle etc did not bother me.. SGT Baker have thrived in recent years in and around the local reefs along with the spikeys..
Hey mate I do like everyone else.. I find the more I go the better my catch rate is getting...I experiment alot with different techniques and areas. Hope to see you out there soon.
Hey Leon hope your well The ipad I run Navionics on it ..I like to keep my sounder full screen....it's an old one so it does the job Yes I was excited to get anything on the jig...the kingie was a great bonus
@@tonstasfishing ahhh ok, thanks mate. Im soon to get a little tinny and want to hit up botany first thing. think a little 3.6m can handle the bay? Apparently a 20km northly wind is a no go for the bay
Nothing beats having a well laid out and comfortable boat to fish from... It will also allow you to fish in inclement weather and go where you want to . IMO fishing solo is a bonus and will also aid in increasing your catch.. Really enjoyed your video... Music also good.
Mate can't fault them I have now at least 7 reels now My biggest king so far is around 80cm had no issues stopping it. That was on the Sharky III The megatron is also 💪
@@ngocpham8129 Plenty for all my friend happy to share with other fishos I'm happy when I see others catching fish... as long they are legal. Cheers Tonsta
