i have a concern. i went through a portal on the top of the castle and then received instant death penalty, im trying to retrieve my items however it appears that its off the map region. please help haha i be sad
Yeah I forgot to disable that portal, sorry! xD. open console and type devcommands then god then fly then go grab your items. It'll still be tricky to grab your items whilst being pushed (a mod can stop this) but it should be manageable. then repeat the same commands to turn off the cheats
I'm frustrated, tried the download in the comments and ended up seemingly HAVING to download some mod manager called thunderstore or some crap....Then I had to download 4 different files to that, then open steam and IT DOES NOTHING, open the local files in Steam and it did not recognize the mod manager.... The page you link to has a download button and your file goes into my local files instead of into the mod manager or into the game automatically like I had desperately hoped, let alone the fact that my Valheim isnt even recognizing the mod manager itself or any of its files...its a messssssss, disaster trying to get this to work. I gave up, now I got some mod manager thing and a bunch of files downloaded for nothing, downloaded your castle 3 times so I got 3 copies of that file that didnt even download into that manager or the game at all, its just 3 loose files on my pc doing nothing. Might come back and try again when feeling more patient and after I graduate engineering classes that i signed up for due to this frustration. Oh also my hair started falling out today, thanks man! Wish the devs would Steam Workshop this, would have already been enjoying the castle and giving you 5 stars.
The download is a world file. No mod manager is needed. Unzip the folder, then place the files in your "worlds" or "worlds_local" folder. "worlds" if you use Cloud Save, "worlds_local" if you save on your PC. To find this folder, click the white box in the bottom left of the Valheim main menu, called "Show Player Log" or go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim I agree, a steam workshop would be much easier
Dude, there's no way you managed to do that. My creativity doesn't even come close to that lol, I would have made the bridge at most and done it badly haha
i think game drop simspeed because it need to calculate every snappoint on 100-200 signs, clicking Q few times should solve the problem. It worked for me with other builds when i'm coppying big structures with inf hammer. Or disable autosnappoints in inf hammer, should also work
I would love q video tutorial on how to install and use infinity hammer properly. Because I installed it and don't have the different hammers on my menu
how do you make some ghost or people appear only when its lightning and what is that beam how did you do all this ? actually functioning?im stunned cuz ik how muchim into bulding and thats tough reply if you got time cuz im actually speechless

This looks amazing. How did you create such nice camera movement? I tried "freefly" mode on Xbox, but it's very difficult to get a smooth rotation during movement
Thanks! I spent an hour recording a 2 minute video of my Dragon Castle. It's very difficult to move and rotate the camera with gamepad BTW. Your buildings are amazing. Can't wait to play your RPG map
