We're Mr. and Mrs. K. We come from the great city of New York, hailing from the great borough of Queens. This channel came from our passion for exploring, traveling, photography, and food. We realized that with all of the stories and experiences we’ve accumulated from our travels, we couldn’t just keep them to ourselves, these things had to be shared.
Not all exploration and travel require a plane, luggage, and a compass. Sometimes exploring your own backyard leads to a destination yet to be discovered. No matter where we go, we will always return back to the realness and foundation, our first love, Queens, NY. If we died, we couldn’t choose a better location.
As a Sox fan man I can’t help but admit Wrigley is such a clean stadium it makes me so mad. 😂😂 it’s not trying to do so much but within what it has it gives you such a feeling of just needing to love and appreciate it for it keeping itself pure to the game of baseball and all of the magic that was dispelled over it.
Another fun tour! Kind of amazed that there's cherry blossom trees in there although not surprising haha. Also seems like Shake Shack at stadiums seems to be common now?
Couldn't agree more with the Museum & Hall of Fame. I went to a Citi Field Tour yesterday & had no idea they moved everything out. You would expect better from an owner claiming to be a Mets fan first. Really disappointed.
@@MrMrsK21 What they did to the Museum & HOF you could see Fred Wilpon doing. I just don't understand why they would destroy it like that. It just goes to show that no matter who owns this time, it'll always be treated as second rate. Especially, the teams history.
Got to see a really fun & cool stadium and we also got a geography lesson when we looked up where Binghamton is on the map 😂 It's a nice change of pace for smaller venues / events where you don't need to worry about fighting crowds.
Thanks for the overview! I'm planning on taking the family for their first ever game at Citi Field in July. Probably somewhere around Section 514 or so for a chill and relatively affordable experience. Aside from the clubs, is everything else including the concessions open for people with any tickets? What would your top 3 menu items be in terms of bang for your buck?
Yes, aside from the clubs all the other general concessions are open to everyone with any ticket. This is a tough question to answer, but top 3 bang for your buck items would probably be the pig beach BBQ, Seoul Bird bucket of chicken and fries, and maybe Shake Shack. Hope you enjoy your time at Citifield and thanks for watching!
@@MrMrsK21 thank you, I appreciate the info! Just bought tickets and will be there for the Rockies. Hopefully we'll get there with plenty of time to walk around. Maybe lines to get in won't be too bad since there's a promo and lots of people will go in early.
@@MrMrsK21 the game was so much fun. I got my shirt the was giving away, got some good food too. I love the Yankees stadium but the Mets has the best stadium by far . So much more to see and do
First of all it’s great to see some Mets Fans on that don’t really care about Yankees. And yes as a Yankee Fan the feeling is mutual whenever They play the Mets in The Subway Series. Also from what I remember at the Old Yankee Stadium Monument Park was open throughout the duration of the game even through extra inning baseball. This is from what I remember and the last time I was ever at the Old Yankee Stadium was the 2003 season. And for some reason, the old Monument Park seems a bit bigger than the new one. Someone fact check me on that. Great video btw
Oh I had no idea! That is interesting. I really wish they stayed open for the duration of the game. There’s quite a lot to read and see there. Thanks for that info and thanks for watching 😃
Totally regret visiting in 2008 before the season and missed seeing the old stadium 😭 (but made it in time for 'Fire Isiah' at MSG 🤣) But the baseball/baseball card wall is awesome + tons of history. Definitely need to visit one day!
OMG! There's a Ben's Chili Bowl in the Nats stadium?! That's awesome. We had them before and it's so good. We hope to visit Nationals Park this year. Can't wait!
We are so pumped for our first game inside this stadium. What kind of camera did you use for this video? We are trying to figure out what they allow inside Wrigley.
This was filmed using a canon m50. I don't remember them being super strict with cameras. Enjoy! This is such a great ballpark with so much character. Have fun! 😄
All the traditions you mentioned have existed for years. O during the "O say can you see" in the National Anthem. Playing Thank God I'm a Country Boy for 7th inning stretch. They added Take me out to the Ballgame before Country Boy about 20 years ago and as an Oriole Fan from long ago I would always wait until I heard Country Boy before I would actually stand for the 7th inning stretch. For me Take me out to the Ballgame was for Harry Caray in Chicago and Sweet Caroline is to Boston. You went to the park on an amazing day and got to experience the true feel of the ballpark. MLB is so awesome in their fan experience. It truly is the only Major League Sport that is affordable and welcoming to families. The deals they offer for discount tickets for kids and students and allowing you to still bring in food to Camden Yards is unlike any other professional sport.
Camden Yards was definitely a special trip for us and all those traditions made the experience that much better. Thank you for your great comment. Loved hearing a personal story from fans. Thank you for the support 😃
The city is so much nicer with the sun out, but at least it wasn't raining. The outdoor concourses have all the premium food service. City Field capacity is only like a couple hundred more.
Enjoyed your video. I was at that game! You can also rent out reception space in the warehouse, there have been lots of Oriole-themed weddings with a great view of the park! There are a lot of O’s history items on display on the club level, too (but pricier tickets). Fun to walk around and look at. Glad you tried the crabby fries, and Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, but Boog’s pit beef is a must. Flag Court is fun during batting practice to try and catch a ball. It was fun to watch what caught your eye, as a Baltimore-based fan who goes to the park often. I’ve honestly never stopped to look at that hall of fame wall! That blank green wall is used to show ads during tv broadcasts, but stays blank in the park so it doesn’t mess with the batter’s sight line.
Thanks for the info! This was such a fun park and there’s so much going on here that you could miss some of the small details. Gotta try boog’s next time! Thanks for watching 😃
Your baseball park reviews with your brother are great! Just found your channel yesterday watching your Oriole Park video. Then I watched your PNC Park video and now this one. If you're bold enough, I think you should interview some fans while you're at these stadiums.
We really appreciate your support! We have a few more ballpark videos in the mix. Also, thanks for the tip! Maybe we should interview some fans/locals at these stadiums 😁
Man, where to begin! This is our favorite ballpark (even though we've never been 😆). The food looks great and lots of pieces from the old stadium. The Mets should have this as an official guide video!
