People shoud understand, that in world there are many different countries. Some of them are based on ethnicity, like Latvia, where national language and culture is important for state formation and further existence. Latvian political elite shoud be more braver, and ignore ignorat and oppressive opinions of others. Because they do represent Latvian interests, they do not respect Latvia, nor they understand it.

Unfortunately murdering their way to democracy wasn’t going so well for Ukraine. This guy is full of it. You cannot possibly argue that growing a massive military alliance swallowing up all of Europe reaching the Russian border was good for peace. It defies logic. We have diplomatic notes from president Clinton and yeltsin’s meetings in early 90’s where yeltsin practically begs Clinton not to expand nato most especially and specifically in Ukraine. Clinton was utterly uncompromising. If a historically large chinese lead military alliance was building a presence in Canada and attempting bring in Canada, that we would allow this or be expected to allow it. And in addition to the Canadian gov being overthrown with Chinese support and in the aftermath that gov then waged war on British Columbia for their opposition to the overthrow and denial of civil rights for nearly a decade. Of course we would support B.C. In this hypothetical.

But try telling him that. It is immovable, verging on the messianic.” One Austrian artist was in a similar state in 1945. Biden administration doesn't see Ukraine beyond a spring next year.

Je to veľmi jednoduché! Ľudovít Veleslav Štúr vedel veľmi dobre prečo to nazýva nárečia. Nemohol to nazývať jazyk pretože Slovenský(eng. Slavic, new 19cent. Nemci onemeli. Maďarsko a Rumunsko sú štaty už pod Talianskou( Rím) vlajkou kde pozmenili dejiny, jazyk aj písmo atď. Juhoslavia= southslavic. ...... Nech žije Nitra

She implied that Russia is pushing an ethnic element to the regime’s ideology: What might that be? I do recall Putin writing the article, “On the Historical Unity between Russians and Ukrainians”, where he claimed that Ukrainians and Russians were one people. One people along historical, religious, and ethnic lines. Does this imply that Putin is a Slavophile? I do find it odd that these self-claiming, “anti-liberal” Russians, such as Putin and Dugin, feel the need to declare their lack of ethnocentric ideals. That, “Russia is a diverse country”, but again, aren’t they anti-liberal? I fail to see an ethnic element to the Putin regime’s ideology. Unless one of you can enlighten me.

Why, when talking about past fascism, the only example that is being brought up every time is Nazi Germany. Actually, Germany was not fascist, but nazi/"national socialist". In the strict sense of the word, Italy was the only fascist country in history (even Franco called his ideology by another name). "Fascism" is not inextricably connected to "death camps" as some speakers seem to suggest. Comparing other countries to Italian or other forms of "fascism" is of course possible, but not very fruitful, in my view. Putin's Russia has many features that make it an unpleasant country. It has not been like that completely since the start, but minority groups are in danger, not of being sent to gas chambers, maybe, but there is a lot in between that and total integration and tolerance.
@TheZombaslaya
@TheZombaslaya Год назад
Yeah exactly, Mussolini's regime is very different from Hitler's. Hitler didn't even like fascism, he saw it as an inferior ideology, and no where did he ever call his regime fascist. Mussolini never set up death camps, and jews in Italy were largely protected from the holocaust until 1943 when Mussolini was overthrown and the Nazis took over. Fascism was much less homicidal to its own population than under national socialism or communism.
@mortenrobinson5421
@mortenrobinson5421 Год назад
Mussolini was the inventor of fascism, but it is generally agreed that nazism is also a fascist ideology and that fascism is an ultra-nationalist, imperialist and expansionist ideology, that in a nutshell romanticizes about a lost greatness of the nation, whines about terrible humiliation imposed by surrounding world and promises to restore the nation's greatness. Mussolini was on a quest to restore the Roman Empire and Adolf Hitler Wanted to restore the German Empire a third time. There was nothing particularly socialist about nazi Germany, just like there is nothing particularly democratic about the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea. Nazi Germany was driven by privately owned enterprise that made great use of slave labour, whereas everything is "stateowned" (Controlled by the Party) in communist socialist ideologies, but also tend to make equal use of slavelabour.

Is Russia fascist? The answer is YES! They committed numerous genocides in their history. Some of the most terrible and sadistic genocides committed by russia is forced famine in Ukraine and Kazakhstan, which led to cannibalism and serious population reduction. In Kazakhstan this resulted in a -50% value of the whole Kazakh nation. So, we don’t have to speculate about russian fascism and build new justifications for world crimes. Putin openly spoke with a quote - "Russian land does not end anywhere!” - that quote should give you a better picture of russian mentality. And for many years, russian people have been brought up on propaganda about permissiveness for a russian person. Putin is not the only initiator of this idea, but he is only an executor. He gives what the Russian people crave, and this is blood, war, violence, robbery and the conquest of foreign lands. Along with this, the average russian person is very poor with a low income, but he is comforted by the idea of a further opportunity to push around other ethnic groups and mock them at the first opportunity.

@@mrsentencename7334 Calling them fascistic aligned is absolutely correct. Love for authority, suppressions and murders of opposition, belief in military superiority, enemies are weak, but also strong rhetoric, cult of personality, rewriting history, constant glorification, anti-lgbt, blood and soil rhetoric to reconquest all lost russian lands up to Poland, prejudice against other ethnicities (Most notably Ukrainians and calling them derogatory names), seeking war or conflict, perception of Ukrainian and Belarussian languages as off shoots or fake, galvanization of people. War isn't fascist, but fascists love conflict. Of course modern russia is not = to Italy or Germany from ww2, but it really is taking notes from them and is aligned in their way of doing things and thinking. Few people wonder where Hitler had got the money to start the second world war. After the first world war, Germany was in a very difficult situation. Suddenly, after taking power, Hitler had a huge financial source to manufacture weapons, recruit soldiers, set up and trained elite SS forces, built a powerful propaganda system... Then he took off the army, invaded everywhere. For wherever they occupied, they sought to kill Jews there, and finally put all their strength into fighting the Soviet Union, almost forcing Moscow to remove the communist regime. This indicates that whoever provided the resources for Hitler must have been a Jew and communist hater. For example, there are two restaurants in the same neighbourhood who are in insidious competition with each other. The owner of restaurant A wants to destroy restaurant B, but does not show up. That owner just uses the money to hire gangsters to cause trouble with the excuse of idleness, and then destroys restaurant B. If the owner of restaurant B can't stand it, he will sells his restaurant to the owner of the restaurant A. In that case, the owner of the restaurant A will buy the restaurant to show his sympathy. After that, the gang was arrested and imprisoned by the police. No one knows who hires the gangsters. Hitler was a type of gangster hired to attack the Soviet Union for someone, who was afraid that the communists would threaten their vast fortune. Killing the Jew was also a side hustle because the boss went along with it. Two people contributed money to Hitler, both killing communism and exterminating Jews. Then kill Hitler and erase all traces. Unfortunately, the plan was not successful because the Soviet Union fought so tenaciously. Seeing that the Soviet Union counter-attacked effectively, the US had to participate in order to have merit and have a good reputation in destroying the fascists. Now the old boss appears, pumping money to create a new fascist in Ukraine, also to fight Russia like before. This time Russia took action first, not allowing the powerful fascists to attack Russian territory. The boss (who specializes in creating fascists) furiously ordered to surround Russia in all ways, massively pumping weapons to fight Russia's weakness. This time that guy wants to drag the whole world to fight Russia. Hopefully Russia is brave enough to defeat fascist in Ukraine, and reveal the true face of the man who created fascism for several times.

What a sad sight to see, a Russian Ukrainian groveling at the feet of the eternal enemies of Holy Rus. Everything negative she said about Russia is either more true about Ukraine or entirely false, for example, the phone calls are obviously easy to fake and the numerous ridiculous propaganda stories, pushed by the highest authorities in the Ukrainian government and media, about the ghost of Kiev, the Snake Island martyrs and pickle jar throwing grandmothers. Bucha and Kramatorsk were, by any dispassionate analysis, perpetrated by the Ukrainian armed forces. But what we do have video footage of is Ukrainian soldiers torturing and abusing Russian soldiers from the very beginning in the most horrific ways. And if she is to be consistent she would have to be opposed to Ukraine invading Russia in a situation where Russia was bombing ethnic Ukrainian and Ukrainian speaking Russians and the government made moves to ban the Ukrainian language in schools and Ukrainophile political parties and media outlets, and on top of this after a friendly pro Ukrainian government was established in a coup by the worst geopolitical enemies of Ukraine and the puppet president of Russia started to talk about developing a nuclear deterrent (as a side note, just think for a moment that the US doesn’t allow Iran to develop nuclear power half way around the world). With how much Ukrainians have been brainwashed for 8 years to hate their Slavic brothers, this is simply impossible to believe. Had they been the nuclear superpower they would have possibly even nuked Russia the way Yulia Timoshenko said she would like to. Very sad to hear such a presentation.
